1.Tell us little about the history of the band and the line up.Also tell me since the beginning did you changed the line up and if you did why?Darin and Bart started the band in early 96 and I joined in late 96. The current lineup is myself on vocals, Darin Winn guitars, Bart Schmidt on drums and Joseph Von Fossen on bass. We have put out 2 demo's so far- "Blasphemous Hymns, Nighttime Serenades" & "Darkly Melisma".The line up has changed a little from the first demo- Robert Nesslieu from "Ritual" is no longer helping out with the keyboards and Joseph from "Noctuary" is now playing bass for us…other than that the band is for the most part all original members.

2.About the name of the band can you explain it a little also how did you come up with idea for a such unusual name and does it fits in to the music you play?
Our name can be defined in several different ways through mythology and literature. The "raven"is most commonly interpreted as a symbol of hate, war and of that, which is forbidden. But, is also a grand image of wisdom in pagan heritage, "the calling of the past". Gomorrah, as most of us know was the equal to Sodom. A place truly ideal for most of us. Hence, the grand pagan calling (raven) representing (over) our place in the past (the myth of Gomorrah, for the city never truly existed).
I really never thought of the name being unusual. Perhaps a little different from those who use trite terms (i.e.- dark, black, something with Christ, something with Babylonian demons). I pondered it not to long before we started. I just recall reading a lot of Poe and Wordsworth at the time.
I never intended our name to be outlandish or strikingly blasphemous, but what we are truly about. A few dark minds very much into the craft of musical art. And I believe it fits what we do to every last forlorn note.

3.What is the stile of the music that you play? What music do you listen, and also what do you think about classic music?
Our music is a mixture of black/death metal with our own style thrown in. I listen to many different styles of music ranging from dark wave, ambient, classical and black/ death metal. If it is dark and can keep my interest I'll listen to it.

4.What do you think about the metal on internet,do you think that metal music should not be on internet or .............?
I think metal on the Internet is a very positive thing for the scene. Back in the late 80's and early 90's the only way for bands to communicate was through the mail, which took forever, as we all know. But, now we can communicate much easier and promote our bands much better. We can reach a lot more people now, which I think is very cool. It is all so a very good way for distros to get the new bands out to the people in the scene as well.

5.Do you like keyboards in black metal music, and do you think that bands that have keyboards are too soft and trying to make commercial music?Yes, I like keyboards in black & death metal bands, if used right it brings a great atmosphere to the songs. No, I do not think that bands that use keyboards are too soft. The music can be just as dark and aggressive as the rest of the bands that play their music with out keyboards.

6.Do you have some kind of the hobby(except that you play in band)?Playing in a band is my only hobby at the moment it's all I have time for other than work. And it's hard just to make time just to do it.

7.Do you think that black,trash,core,grind,death........and bands that doesn't play same kind of music should play together on gig(concert)?Yes, because it's a good way for all kinds of extreme metal bands to show other crowds that there are many different styles of dark and brutal music out there and to not limit one's self to one specific genre of music.

8.What is your opinion about the church, and about Satanism(and do you support act such as burning the churches and killing the priest)? My opinion of the Christian church is this: it is a very dangerous cult and it must be stopped as soon as possible. As for Satanism I do not believe in Jesus or Satan so I really have no comment or give a fuck about this subject.

9.The favorite song you made an why:
I myself like "the kingdom beneath the wolf" I think the vocals turned out really good throughout
the whole song and I like all the different changes in the song

10.Were you on some local radio show?
Yes, we played live on a local radio show in 98 and they have played both our demos on the show as well.
the radio show is called "echoes of the oracle" at k.u.c.i. irvine CA.

11.Do you think that underground music need more attention of media and what is your opinion about big music televisions and radio stations(such as MTV,VIVA...):
No, I do not think the underground scene needs any attention from the media-then it would not be
underground anymore now would it. I do not listen to the radio or watch MTV-so I have no opinion on that matter.

12.Do you have support of local metal fans?
Yeas, we have support from the local bands and people into this music in our area. Most of the support comes from Europe though.

13.Plans for the future:
Our plans for the future are to get signed and put out some CD's but most important to me is to stay
involved in the underground scene and help keep it going forever.for this music and the beliefs that
go with it are a big part of my life.
