1.Who are the band members:
Bob Jacobs: guitar
2.How did you got the name and what does it means:
Bob: Vitality is a positive name that I picked because it is
powerful and it fits the style of our music.
3.What is the stile of music that you are playing:
Bob: Original heavy metal that combines styles of thrash, goth,
& doom.
4.Who writes the song and what are your songs about:
Bob: I write most of the music as well as 1/2 the lyrics. My songs
are about real life situations and horror mostly. Anything that interest me. I have a very
good friend named Aine who writes allot of lyrics for me which I use for Vitality.
5.Best live show:
Bob: Hasn't happened yet with this lineup, but my former band
played this
college in upper Pa. called Lockhaven and those people went nuts moshing
around the place. We also got to play an after show with Overkill that was
killer.
6.Your biggest success:
Bob: Well right now that would be to get my band complete so we
can get out
on the road and to record a CD.
7.Plans for the future:
Bob: See last question.
8.some of your favorite bands:
Bob: Iron Maiden, Exodus, Ozzy/Randy Rhoads, Forbidden, The
Gathering,
Cathedral, S.O.D.
9.What is your opinion about MTV and other big music televisions, and do you think
that metal bands should appear on them:
Bob: I don't think about MTV all that much, nor do I watch it.
They play the same videos over and over again which gets quite boring. MTV doesn't play
much music anyway. They mostly have stupid game shows or shows about peoples lives that I
could care less about. I think metal bands should definitely be on MTV, but I won't lose
sleep if they aren't. Metal bands never seem to get the respect they deserve, but as you
know that never stopped the true fans from continuing to buy metal LP's and going to metal
shows. Essentially I think metal on MTV would mostly cater to the trendy crowd, y'know all
the bandwagon jumpers. I still would like to see metal on MTV, maybe I'd actually watch it
for a change.
10.Your favorite music show:
Bob: I guess Iron Maiden on the Powerslave tour and the Exodus
reunion.
11.Say something for the end:
Bob: Well, hopefully Vitality will be back to full force real soon
so keep an eye out for us. Hopefully the missing pieces will fall into place. Make sure to
check out our site and sign our guestbook.
