1.Where are you from, when was band formed and who formed the band, and back then who were your main influences in the music.?
A. I was born and raised in San Diego County. I formed the band in 1992 after
my former band espionage broke up. The band's early influences were Pantara,
king Dimond, Sepultura, Death, Testement, stuff like that.
2.Tell us little about the line up,who are the band members and since the beginning did you changed the line-up and why.Do you have line up problems,and is it hard to find the right people to play that kind of
music...
B. I am the only original member of the band left. In San Diego today after
Metal died in that town it's almost impossible to find anyone who will play
in your band. All the good musicians have cut their hair, gotten married and
had kids. No one is really interested in metal. Only a few clubs play metal
anymore. In the 80's metal was huge in San Diego. Band's like Bible Black and
Psychotic Waltz dominated the Clubs. Currently the line up is stable.3.Who gave the name to the band and did you change the name,what does it means and does it fits in the music you play
C. One day we wrote a song in Espionage and the singer needed a name. I aksed
him what the song was about and he said it was about going insane. So i
blurted out "Sanity's Void" and it stuck. So when i formed a new band i took
the name of that song and used it for the new band. The band's name never
changed. The name fits the new line up more so then the old. So i am happy
about that.4.Tell us little about your music,who writes the music,who writes the lyrics and what are your lyrics about? Since the beginning did you changed your music stile....? Who are you main music influences.??What is your favorite song that you made..???
D. My Guitar player and I write all the music and I write some of the words.
The subject matters runs from atomic warfare to terrorist bio attacks all the
way to Bibical matters of the last chapter. The new stuff is a cross between
Death and Six feet under. Not that we sound like either band just that the
vibe is there. When we formed the new line up we wanted to take a more
simplistic point of view with the music and thats where Six Feet Under
influenced our music. Some of it is simple and straight forward. Then on some
songs it's hard to shake your progressive roots so it has a Death feel. We
are definatly old School Death Metal and you will not find any blast beats on
the up coming CD. Fast tempo yes mindless noise? No.5.Tell us little about gigs,how often do you have gigs,does many people come
to see you play live,do you have some special act when you are on stage,
what was your best gig...
E. The band's best gigs were in the mid 90's we would draw up to 150 people
or more. Once we drew 180 and out did the headliner. The last gigs we did in
2000 were small. Metal is dead in San Diego so it's not even worth doing
really. Almost ZERO promotion goes into the show. The band's are really on
their own now days. This is why we decided to do the CD. We are seeking to by
pass San Diego all together and seek a record Deal. We don't care to play
live local any more and cannot afford to play on a tour. We hope the CD will
change this.6.What about your local underground scene,can you tell us little about it,are there many people who listens that kind of music and support the underground and are there many metal and core bands...
F. Only a hand full of metal band's exist there now. Punk and Ska has taken
over. This is all because of MtV killing metal.7.What do you do beside that you play in the band,can you earn money by
playing your music.
G. No I have a day job like everyone else.8.Are you religious,do you believe in Satan or God and what is your opinion
about religion...H. I am a Christian but I don't go for organized religion at all. I see a
lot of anti Christian hostillity in the metal world now. Most of the people
hating Christians today are irrational and just follwoing a trend. Ask them
why they hate Christians and they will blurt out something about the
Crusades. Give me a break ok? That was what? 1000 years ago? You cannot hold
current generations to the guilt of the former. It's illogical and stupid.
Then there are the Pat Robertson's of the World. Yet they don't effect anyone
in a personal way. Sometimes a law will be passed but hey some laws are
passed by the left I hate. Live with it or Change it.
IN the end I will not be surprized if we have a second holocaust with
Christians as the victims this time around rather then the Jews. People
should wake up to the hate they feel and get educated. You know Jewish orgs
are suing the socks off major corporations for their dealings with the NAZI's
durring WWII. Wait till the world regains it's sanity after the Christain
holocaust and you see record labels getting sued for the hate they spread by
signing all the wanna be Jessus Haters. It will be interesting. My Guitar and
Drummer are Agnostic. I dunno what the other Guitar player's views are.9.Do you plan to made music video some day,and what kind of video you would
like to made...
I. No video's as there is no reason to do one since MTV will not play them. I
doubt any record Company that would sign a band like us would waste the money
on one.10.Do you know something about my country(Yugoslavia)and would you like to play some day in my country???What do you think about current political situation on my country...
J. Well I know all about NATO's Bombing and I denownce NATO for this. I side
with the Serbs in the KOVOSO matter. I know CNN lies through it's teeth and
ther Serbs are a greatr friend to the U.S. and my gov't is run by liberals
and this is why we had that problem. The Serbs were fighting to keep KOVOSO
under their legal control and they had every right to. I think your readers
who disagree with me here should consider one of my grandfathers was Full
Blooded Albanian. I am also half German. So I do look at it objectivly. I
would love to play in your country. Maybe I can bring back a high Quality
Yugo AK-47? Ha ha ha they are much better then the Yugo car that was sold in
America. :)11.What is your opinion about multination corporations.What do you think about political corruption.
K. I am opposed to the NEW WORLD ORDER, NATO and the United Nations. Those
orgs were created to bring the world under control of the Big Business
multinational Corporations. In my own country we have communists who call
themselves Liberals working to further this evil plot. I think they are
traitors to the Constitution and Bill of Rights and should be shot. I know in
the end I will end up dead or they will lose. I just wonder how many others
in Music feel the same way? hmmm12.Do you like horror and gore movies....what is your favorite...
L. Phantasm.13.Texno,house and other shity computer music have taken over the world.What do you think about that kind of music,and do you think is there place for metal and core in future.
M. I hate the new Mayhem. I hate all that is not true metal and yet tries to
capture the metal audience. I like other forms of music tho.14.What is your opinion about commercial music scene and bands such as Slipknot,Korn,Deftones........
N. Deftones are OK. Korn I hate with a passion. I even met them once in 94
before they got signed. They were playing the same clubs in San Diego as my
band. My singer got to be really good friends with them. He got back stage
passes at all their gigs in the area once they went on tour. KORN almost
destroyed metal. All the trendies wanted to be like Korn. If I hear a band
that has even a slight Korn influence I refuse to listen. I hate Slipknot
because they sound like they woulod not exist if not for KORN. KORN must Die
in the Coming metal inqusition.
15.What is the must important thing in music for you : brutality,speed,melody,technique,lyrics....O. Gosh I really do not know? I just love to get an idea and make it into a
song. Thats what I have always wanted to do. I guess Technique comes to the
forfront.16.Favorite drink.???do you use drugs and what is your opinion about drugs...
P.No Drugs for me I think they are counter productive. I am some what a
libertarian so i am not opposed to other doing what they want in life. I love
Coke a'cola17.Plans for the future...
Q. Well to finish our CD and see what happens. I am also going to audition
for a band on Massacre called Imagika. I am sending them a tape and will see
if they want to talk to me after that. I know they are looking at a few bass
players now so you never know. NO matter what happens I will still be
involved with Sanity's Void and the NEW CD will be released.18.Say something for the end...
