Top row of two-row entries for a driver are to do with that driver's first attempt to
qualify, while the bottom row is for the first successful qualification.
Also note that the Jacques Villeneuve that features here is not the current Formula 1
driver and 1997 World Champion. It is in fact Gilles' brother, which makes the Jacques
Villeneuve mentioned here the 1997 World Champion's uncle.

Note that Michael Schumacher, Gilles Villeneuve and Pedro Rodriguez are the only older
brothers to win a race! And all the World Champions are the younger brothers (except
Michael again), who are generally the better performers.
No pair of brothers have had both win a race, or set a pole position, or even set a
fastest lap, let alone a World Championship! In fact, it seems that the Schumachers (8
times) and Fittipaldis (twice) are the only brothers who have scored points in the same
race. Coincidentally, both achieved their first double points score with the established
brother winning, and the new kid on the block finishing 6th. At Monza in 1998, the
Schumachers became the only brothers to share the podium, Michael in 1st and Ralf in 3rd
position.
Also note that only 6 pairs have had both brothers actually race, with only 3 of these
(Fittipaldi, Scheckter and Schumacher) actually contesting the same race at least once.
Please note that 1 other pair (Villeneuve) had one brother fail to qualify at the same
race that the other brother raced in.
