Game #1: "Dialogue Dilemma"
(Idea Stolen Directly From an Old "E!" Online Promotion)
How many times have you been sitting in your local movie theater, hoping to enjoy a movie, only to wind up sitting there and thinking to yourself, "I could have written better lines in my sleep"? Or perhaps you think the lines were fine, but just would have liked to add a different, witty touch.
Well, now, revenge is yours.
Below are several images from recent (and not-so recent) movies that could use, in my opinion, a "wordage make-over." Be kind. Be cruel. Be whatever you want. (But be somewhat nice to those with Hopkins in 'em.)
When you have finished making up your new lines, email them to me (see link below, and be sure to include the name of the image you have "re-dubbed.") I will post your works of art directly on the page, and put your name next to it. An example has been provided.
Anthony Hopkins in "Hannibal"
"I wish my last victim was smaller...Then when I stole his clothes, they would have fit."
Emilio Estevez in "The Breakfast Club"
Humphrey Bogart in "Casablanca"
"Tic-Tac, Sir?"
Danny W, U.K. who feeds ponies on a regular basis.
Chris Kattan & Colin Quinn in "A Night At The Roxbury"
"Easy Rider"
"Hey, Man, you really think we should be driving into that supercell?"
Clair B, who loves Anthony Stewart Head
Nicholas Cage in "Face/Off"
"With a 'Quack, quack' here and a 'Quack, quack' there..."
Clair B, who is OBSESSED with Anthony Stewart Head
Ben Kingsley & Martin Sheen in "Ghandi"
"So what do you think? An 8 or a 9 iron?"
Clair B, who Anthony Stewart Head had better keep an eye out for
Marlon Brando in "The Godfather"
"Slider...You stink."
Danny W, U.K., who also feeds squirrels, gerbils and other small, furry animals. We don't ask, we just smile and nod around him.
Anthony Hopkins & Julianne Moore in "Hannibal"
"Hellraiser"
"Hey! Anybody got a hammer?"
Clair B, Anthony Stewart Head's #1 Stalker/Fan
"King Kong"
"Umm, honey, I really don't think this is the Britney Spears concert."
Clair B, soon to be thrown in the slammer for hiding in Anthony Stewart Head's shrubbery.
Peter O' Toole & Anthony Quinn in "Lawrence of Arabia"
C A Moss in "The Matrix"
Lawrence Fishburne in "The Matrix"
"Cowabunga!!!!"
Clair B, need I say more about her?
Peter Weller in "RoboCop"
"The Quick Gun"
"Well, HE started it!"
