*Klyn POV*
We all walk into the arena and head to the stage area so the boys can start to do sound check and practice a little. I look out over the seats and I can see Autumn looking around for, whatever she was looking for. I am so confused on what's going on I have no idea what she is doing. I guess trying to protect the boys. I roll my eyes and tell Aj I was going to the back stage area to get some water and asked if he wanted some.
"Sure K, thanks."
"Your welcome" I tell him and start to walk off.
"Hey K, get me some water too" I hear Kevin yell at me.
"Yea me too" Nick yells.
I roll my eyes and wave my hand to let them know I heard them when I hear Brian
"He.."
"Yes I know Bri, I will" I yell back at him and I hear him chuckle.
I get to where the refreshments are and see Howie sitting on a chair with his head in his hands
"D, what's wrong?" I ask him. He looks up at me with a look that says 'what do you think?' "Oh, yea" I say and sit down next to him. "Look D, this'll pass and things will go back to normal" I tell him and again he looks at me and I laugh "Ok, as normal as they can be for us" I say.
He laughs "I sure hope so K, man this is hard and really weird. I mean my girl thinks she's bat girl" He tells me.
I put my hand on his shoulder
"I know, hey she's my best friend, so I kinda know how you feel. Look lets just get through this and hope it all ends soon" I say to him and get up and grab the waters.
"Yea" He mumbles.
I give him a little smile and head back to the stage. I see Bri and Nick talking separate from Kev and Aj. I walk up slowly to see if I can hear what they are saying
"Look bri, I know we can get to the bat cave"
"How?"
"Ok, you dress up like Robin and I'll dress up like Bat man" Nick tells Brian getting excited.
"What? You have finally lost it" Brian says to him and I am trying hard not to laugh.
"No, really man. This would work"
I can see Brian is actually thinking about it and I can't believe it, I always thought he was the sane one...guess not.
"Ok, here's the deal. I'll do it but I wanna be Bat man, you can be Robin"
"NO WAY" Nick whines
"And why not?" Brian asks.
"Because ummm I look hot in leather and I would look stupid in tights" Nick tells him.
"Now who in the world told you you looked hot in leather? Never mind, don't answer that." Brian says shaking his head.
"Yea and besides Bri has chicken legs, he wouldn't look good in tights either"
I say coming out of my hiding place. They both jump
"How long have you been standing there?" Nick asks me.
"Long enough Nicky boy, or should I say....Bat man, or is it Robin?" I say laughing
"Shut up Klyn" Nick whines at me and grabs his water.
I'm still laughing when I hand Brian his.
"I know Nick why don't you dress up like Cat woman, I mean she wears leather too that way Brian can still be Bat man" I tell him as he walks away.
He stops and turns around and looks at me like he's thinking about it and then shakes his head
"Nope, I'm Bat man"
He says and me and Brian laugh when we hear
"Finally Bat man you have arrived, I told them you were everywhere"
*Autumn/Bat Girl POV*
Nick walked behind a curtain as Klyn rolled her eyes.
"Oh and I couldn't make him believe the clouds were falling," she says to Kevin.
"Yes Bat girl, I'm here."
"Well, that's a relief." I look around. "Where' Robin?"
"Um, he's checking around to see if Joker is around or anything."
"I've already looked but maybe he will find something I missed."
"Maybe."
"Well, I am thirsty. Let me go get something to drink. Since Bat man is here, he can watch over you until I come back."
As I leave, AJ walks up and hits Nick.
"Hey man, what's that for?"
"For being you"
Meanwhile, I walk into the back and see Howie.
"Everything alright?"
I ask him He looks up and closes his eyes.
"Yeah."
"Are you sure?"
"I'm sure Aut..Bat girl. It's just I have this girl on my mind and I love her and all but she's....gone."
I frown. "Howard, I am very sorry. Things just go that way at times. Did she leave you or something?"
"I guess you could say that."
"Maybe she'll return to you soon. "
I see Howie grin and he nods and takes off. As I am getting a drink of water, Klyn runs up.
"Bat girl, come quick!"
"What is it?"
"There is this woman attacking Brian. She claims to be his wife but she isn't and I think it's Poison Ivy."
*Klyn POV*
I smile to myself as Autumn makes a mad dash towards Brian...and Leighanne.
'ya know if Autumn was..uhh Autumn she really would of loved what I just did' I think to myself as I hear Leighanne scream.
"Brian what in the heck is Autumn doing?"
Everyone starts yelling at once and then over all the noise I hear Kevin yell
"Autumn stop, thats Brians wife"
I bust up laughing and have to go into the dressing room so no one can hear me. I'm sitting there for about 5 minutes by myself when all of a sudden the door jerks open and Brian walk in looking not oh so happy
'uh oh' I think as I stand up "uhh hey Bri, what's up?" I ask him.
"What's up? what's up? how could you?" He shouts at me.
I try to look innocent, at least I do my best
"Do what?" I ask him.
"How could you tell Autumn that Leighanne was attacking me?" He asks me, his face getting red with anger.
"Oh that...well uhh it was a joke" I tell him
"Not a funny one, Klyn" He yells at me
"Well now, I thought it might be" I tell him but not with much behind it.
I hear noise at the door and I see Leighanne and the rest of the guys following her. She looks up at me and I swear I see the claws coming out
"You!"
She yells and starts to lunge towards me but Aj grabs her before she could.
"Now now Leigh, lets not hurt my girlfriend" he says
"Thanks hun" I say to him.
He looks at me and I can see a certain darkness to his eyes and I knew I was in trouble.
'crap'
I think when Kev starts in on me
"Now Klyn what you did wasn't right. Autumn could of seriously hurt Leigh thinking she was attacking Brian. You know she isn't in her right mind"
He tells me and I look up at him
"Who's not, Leigh or Autumn?"
I ask and Brian growls at me. I look over at him and then towards Leighanne and I see Autumn walking in behind her.
*Autumn/Batgirl*
I walk in to silence but I know the looks.
"What's going on here?" I ask.
Every turns and looks at me.
"YOU!" Leighanne screams.
I stand and look at everyone. "What?"
"You and her have been out to get me since the beginning."
"I have no idea what you mean."
Then Kevin interrupts. "Klyn, you still had no right to do that."
I run over and bring my cape out.
"Alright, nobody and I mean NOBODY talks that way to Klyn. If anyone is going after her, they have to get through me."
"Guys, she's serious." AJ says. "I wouldn't try anything. We can't take her."
Brian shoots a look over at AJ.
"Yeah we can!"
"Yeah B Rock, do you remember the deal with Marcus?"
Brian yells. "I don't care. Leighanne could have been hurt because of Autumn. Yeah you guys heard me right..I said AUTUMN."
That was enough to set Howie off.
"If any of you touch her, you're gonna have to deal with me. And Bri, you remember all those things Leighanne done to Autumn? Well, I would say they are even." Howie then turned and looked at me. "Bat girl," he couldn't believe he was saying this, "take Klyn with you and leave me here to talk to everyone, okay?"
I nodded. "Come on Klyn, you are going to the bat cave with me."
As we went out, Nick yelled.
"BUT THAT ISN'T FAIR! I ASKED TO GO FIRST!"
*Klyn POV*
As I walk through the door following Autumn out to go to the bat cave I turn around and smile
"Hey Nicky" I call back to him.
He looks up at me and rolls his eyes
"What! Klyn?
He asks in a grumpy pouty mood which gets me to smile even bigger. I look over at AJ and he sees my smile and I hear him groan. I laugh and then look back at Nick and stick my tongue out at him
"I'M GOING TO THE BAT CAVE AND YOUR NOTTTTTT"
I yell back at him and slam the door and take off running to where Autumn is now standing waiting for me. I'm laughing when I get to her
"What is wrong fair citizen, are they after you again?" She asks me looking behind me.
"Oh no they aren't bat girl. I just had to say something to Nick is all"
"Oh ok. Lets go"
I smile "Ok"
I say to her just as I hear the door fly open and Nick yelling
"Klyn!!! When I find you, you are getting so hurt. Do you hear me?!!"
I start laughing at him and then hear AJ
"Boy you touch one hair on my girlfriends head you will not only have to answer to my sister but you will be in traction from me!!"
"Ok, boys knock it off we have to ...."
I couldn't hear the rest of what Kevin said because Autumn was leading me down into the depths of the arena and it was getting darker.
'Man if we don't pay attention to where we are going were gonna get lost' I think to myself as she stops in front of a door.
"Ok fair citizen Klyn, this is it, the bat cave. From here on out this is our secret, and bat mans when he can make it down here. You have to swear to secrecy, can you?" She asks me all serious.
I have to bite my lip from laughing in her face, I know cruel, but my best friend thinks she is a made up super hero...you'd want to laugh too. I try my best to look serious
"Yes bat girl, I understand and no one will ever know of this place from me" I tell her.
She smiles "Good, lets go in"
She opens the door and we walk in. When she closes the door it's practically pitch black in the room.
"Uh bat girl..I can't see" I tell her. She doesn't answer me "Bat girl?" I say again..again no answer 'great left alone in a dark room, if AJ was here it would be cool but since I'm with a girl who thinks shes bat girl..not a good thing' I am thinking when I hear a noise in front of me. Uh..bat girl?" I ask in a shaky voice
*Autumn/Batgirl POV*
I turn a light on and Klyn sees a neatly arranged room. She kinda looks around in amazement. I give her some water.
"Um, thanks."
"No problem Klyn. I'm just working on my bat belt. Seems I lost mine somewhere."
Klyn rolls her eyes. There is a vent in the area where we are and you can hear the guys.
"Wow, I can hear them," Klyn says.
"Yep,"
I say as I work on my belt. Klyn looks over at me with wide eyes.
"Whatcha doing?"
"Taking apart this phone so I can use it as a transmitter to call Bat man if I need him."
"Um, Bat girl?"
"Yes?"
"Where did you find that phone?"
"Why, in Alexander's bag. I didn't think he would need it."
I go back to work and don't hear Klyn say
"Uh-oh." I smile as I get my belt fixed. The guys have finally calmed down and I look at Klyn.
"Well, since they have finally decided to be good, fair citizens, we can go back up."
"Okay," Klyn says. "But, can you leave the light on until we get out?"
I laugh. "Sure. Klyn?"
"Yeah?"
"You'd make a good super hero. Next time there is a meeting at the Hall of Justice, I'll recommend you. Though I don't know what your talent is."
With that, we leave and go back to the stage area.
*Klyn POV*
We start back to where everyone and I'm trying to figure out how to get AJ's phone back without him figuring it's gone first.
'I know what my talent is' I think to myself as I watch Autumn look down every corridor for the bad guys, 'being driven insane by my friends and surviving to talk about it'
We get back to everyone and Leighanne takes one look at us
"Stay away from me both of you" she says very slowly and hides behind Brian.
I laugh and walk over to AJ
"Don't worry Leighanne being close to you is the worst thing that could happen to me" I tell her back.
"KLYN!!"
Brian yells and Kevin growls.
"What?" I ask trying to be innocent.
"Well why don't we go and start uhhh practicing or something"
AJ says as he grabs my hand and pulls me through the door. I hear grumbling from behind me and I snicker. We get to the stage and Leighanne makes a big circle to stay away from me and Autumn and I laugh at her.
"Shut up Klyn, you've caused enough trouble" Kevin growls at me
"Kev I think you need that bar that's stuck up you pulled out so you can ease up a little" I retort back at him.
He's about to say something back to me when AJ grabs my arm and pulls me off stage onto the arena floor.
"What?" I ask him.
"Baby, you need to stop pissing Kevin off." He tells me.
I look at him and very seriously ask
"Why?"
He just stares at me and then is about to say something when Autumn yells
"Where is Klyn? What have you people done with her?"
I look over and Howie is trying to calm her down and tell her where I am but she won't listen.
"I want to know where she is. she is going to be highly recommended for super hero status at the next meeting and I can't lose site of her" She tells him.
I smile and Aj looks at me
"Super hero status?"
"Yes baby, you are in love with a super hero" I tell him.
He plops down in a chair next to us and puts his head in his hands. I put my hand on his shoulder and pat it. I look up on the stage and poor Howie looks totally lost as he watches Autumn walk to the steps that leads off stage and heads towards me and AJ
*Autumn/Batgirl POV*
A guy in a white coat walks in right as Nick yells
"Yeah, what's her superpower?"
Klyn turns and looks at Nick with a huge grin on her face.
"Well Nick, I understand you at times, right?"
"Yeah, so?"
"Well, that is something amazing in itself."
Nick's jaw drops. "HEY!"
Marcus walks over and ask the man who he is then walks over to the guys.
"He's a doctor."
"Damn, about time," Aj yells while jumping up.
AJ shakes the guys hand and says something to him. The doctor nods. I'm talking to Klyn about the next meeting when the AJ comes over to me.
"Sis, I mean Bat girl, I have someone I want you to meet."
"Oh and who is it Alexander?" I look at the guy suspiciously.
"Well, Bat man asked him to come check you out from the neck up, I mean for any injuries."
"But I have no injuries. I'm Bat girl."
"Well, Bat man wants to make sure."
I get up and go over to the doctor and he takes me to the back and checks me over. About fifteen minutes later we come out and the doctor is laughing.
"It was nice meeting you again."
Howie looks up. "So is she going to be okay?"
"Well, seems she has a nasty bump to the head. other than that, she is fine."
"So, um, doc, how long is she gonna be like this?" Kevin asks.
"Well, if you can bring up some things from the past, she might get her memory back. But then again, she might need another hit to the head."
Leighanne looks up. "Hey, I can do that for the guys."
AJ, Klyn, Kevin, Nick, and Howie shoot her a look like "just try."
"No, just see what happens. If you need me for anything while in town, here is my card." The doctor then left.
"Man, I have to see the Batcave before she gets her memory back. K, what was it like?
*Klyn POV*
I turn and look at Nick
"Sorry Nicky, I can't tell you. I was sworn to secrecy" I tell him and walk over to where Autumn is "Hey girl. You ok?" I ask her.
She turns and looks at me
"Klyn, can I tell you something?"
"Yea sure of course" I tell her.
She looks around and then motions for me to follow her. I turn and look at see everyone looking at me. I shrug my shoulders and then follow. We stop in a corridor and she turns and looks at me.
"I don't think Batman asked that doctor to look at me" She says to me in a hushed voice.
"Uh, why's that?" I ask her.
"Because there is no need for it. I'm batgirl, nothing can hurt me" she tells me.
"Of course Batman did, Au.batgirl, he just wanted to make sure your were fine." I tell her as Nick and Brian walk up.
"Hey girls" They say to us.
Autumn looks up and grins
"Hi batman"
She says to Nick and I almost bust up laughing but bite my lip to stop myself.
"Uh Hi batgirl. I was wondering if you could show me where the batcave is. I've umm sorta forgot"
Nick says to her in another attempt to find the batcave.
"Forgot? how can you do that Batman?" She asks him.
"Well I, uhh, well, ummm, just forgot. It's been stressful these past few days" He tells her.
She looks at me and then back at him
"I'm sorry but I am beginning to wonder if you are Batman." she tells him looking at him suspiciously.
"Oh uhh no I am really. I was just doing that to test Klyn. See I know she knows where it is and I was making sure she wouldn't tell me, seeing as I am a good friend of hers also." He tells her.
She keeps looking at him but then seems satisfied with that.
"Ok, good idea. I'm glad to say she passed" She said looking at me.
I smile at her and then at Nick. He stick his tongue out at me and I laugh.
"Well I have to check some more of the arena. I'll be back"
Autumn says and then takes off leaving me with Brian and Nick. I turn and look at them
"Nice save Nicky" I say to him.
"Thanks K, now where is the batcave." He asks me.
I smile and start to walk away.
"I can't tell you that." I tell him
As I walk away I hear Nick say to Brian
"Man we really need some costumes so we can find the batcave"
"Yea we do but where do we find them?"
"Well we will call up a local costume place" Nick says to Brian
"OH good idea. Lets go"
They take off to find a phone.
'Uh oh' I think to myself 'if they get caught Autumns gonna kick some serious super hero wanna be butts'
*Autumn/Batgirl POV*
As I am checking the arena, I begin to think. Why would that doctor ask me the questions he did? Why was Batman out of costume and why would he forget where the Batcave was? I stopped and looked at the dancers. Something wasn't right. I began to talk to nobody in particular.
"Only one mastermind would be behind this...." Before I could finish, I heard something behind me. It was only Howie. "Howard, what are you doing here?"
"Nothing. I was wanting to ask you something."
"Alright, I can always make time for questions from those I protect."
"Have you ever been to Jamacia?"
"Why you ask?"
"Well, I was just wondering because I went one time with someone and we had a blast. The music, the food. It was just a wonderful time. I was just wondering if you ever went."
Howie was trying to bring some memories back to "Autumn".
"Howard, I have never gone but it sounds like it would be fun."
Howie just looked at me. He gave it a shot. Maybe the rest of the guys would help him out. He walked away and I continued to check the arena out one last time. Hopefully, Klyn was okay and nobody was messing with a future super hero.
*Klyn POV*
I walk out to the stage and look out over the arena and see Howie talking to Autumn. As I watched I could see Howie's face turn from hopeful to where it looked like he felt defeated.
'Poor Howie. I sure hope this doesn't last much longer' I am thinking when I feel a pair of arms wrap themselves around me. I look down and of course see Ajs tattooed arms. I lean back and smile "Hey babe" I say to him.
He kisses my neck
"Hey beautiful. What'cha doin?" He asks me.
"Oh just watching poor Howie try to get Autumn to remember something" I tell him.
I hear him sigh and then his arms fall away from me and he walks over and sits on the edge of the stage. I've been so busy worrying about how Howie is doing I didn't even think about how Aj is taking it and it's his sister.
"Oh Alex, I'm sorry, I wasn't thinking."
I tell him as I sit next to him.
"It's ok baby, I know this is hard on you too. I just wish I knew what to do. I can't handle it much longer" He tells me.
I move to where I was behind him and he leans back and I hold him, feeling horrible that I didn't even think about how he felt. We sit there for a few minutes when we hear Kevin say
"Aww isnt' that cute. Aj and the brat sitting together"
All of a sudden Aj jumps up out of my arms and walks over to Kevin and they are staring at each other
'oh crap'
I think to myself as Aj starts in on kevin
"Man what the hell is your problem?"
"Your girlfriend is the problem. usually it's your girlfriend and your sister but seeing as your sister isn't herself today, it's just your girlfriend" Kevin tells him.
"You need to lighten up Kevin. She doesn't do anything wrong and pretty much just says what other people want to but are to scared to say it"
"NO Aj she has a big mouth and needs to learn when to keep it shut!" kevin yells back.
I see Ajs hands are clinched into fists and I look around for Howie or someone to stop what's going on. I spot movement coming from backstage
'oh good Howie is coming'
I think when Nick jumps out in full blown Batman costume
"What is going on here, fair citizens?"
We all just stand there staring at him, the fight between Kevin and AJ totally forgotten
*Autumn/Batgirl POV*
"NICK! What in the hell are you doing?!" Kevin yells.
"I'm not Nick, I'm Batman!" Nick says very loudly and placing his hands on his hips. He raises the mask up and says "shhh."
AJ looks at Klyn and shakes his head.
"Okay, this..this is just sad."
Klyn suddenly bust out laughing as Brian walks out.
"Robin! About time Boy Wonder," Nick practically yells.
Brian is sulking.
"Man, I told you I didn't look good in tights. I wanted to be Batman."
"Hey, I'm Batman, don't talk to me like that!"
About this time Leighanne comes to the stage.
"Have you guys seen... Brian?" Brian looks down, still sulking. "Oh honey, don't say you are going along with this." Then she looks at the tights. "Awwww. You look so sexy."
Brian is now smiling. Howie walks out.
"Guys, I want to know if...." he spots Nick and Brian. "What are you guys doing? I'm trying to get Autumn back in her right mind and you two are going to make her keep believing she is Batgirl? AJ, you can't let them do that to Autumn."
AJ looks at them.
"I'm not. I'm about to kick both their asses."
Now, I have joined the group.
"Well, everything is... BATMAN! ROBIN! You guys made it!"
"We sure did Batgirl. Everything safe?"
"You know it. Oh and Batman. Robin?"
"What Batgirl," Brian asks.
I walk over and put my arm around Klyn.
"I am nominating her to be a super hero. What you two think?"
*Klyn POV*
They look at me and I can see that Nick has found the opportunity he has been looking for to totally get me back for everything I have ever done. He grins evilly
"Actually Batgirl, I hate to tell you this, she...is Poison Ivy"
Autumn looks horrified and my jaw drops to the floor and Leighanne starts laughing.
"What? You had me trusting you and your nothing but a a a criminal. Batman, I showed her the batcave, she knows where it is" Autumn yells.
Nick sticks his tongue out at me and then turns to Autumn
"Well Batgirl then we must get to the batcave and move it, asap. Can't have Poison Ivy and her gang know where it is."
"Right Batman."
"Ok, Batgirl, Robin lets go"
Autumn glares at me once more
"I'll get you for this"
She says to me and then the 3 of them take off into the depths of the arena. I stand there staring after them and then look at a smiling Kevin.
"What?" I ask him
"Got back at you didn't he?" He asks me.
I am so mad I can only see red and AJ sees this so he comes and grabs my hand and takes me over to Howie
"D, lets umm take K away from Leighanne and Kevin right now. I dont' think she needs to be anywhere near them"
Howie looks at Aj and shakes his head
"Yea ok Aje, lets go to the dressing room and try to figure out what to do"
"Good idea D"
Aj says and then, still holding on to me, starts walking towards the backstage area. I stop and turn and look at Kevin and Leighanne
"You know he might of got me this time, but when Autumn is back to normal I WILL tell her what he did and then you all better keep looking behind you"
I tell them and Aj jerks on my arm and forces me to walk after him. We get to the dressing room and Howie turns and looks at us
"What are we going to do? Those 2 are encouraging her and the scary thing is they didn't get hit in the head, they are acting normal!!" D yells.
"Calm down D, we'll figure something out" AJ tells him.
I start to head to the door when he grabs my shoulders
"You, young lady, aren't going anywhere" He says as he leads me to a chair
"But baby" I whine.
"Sit"
He tells me and I do sulking
*Autumn/Batgirl POV*
I am still shocked. No way she could be Posion Ivy.
"Are we almost there yet?" Nick, I mean Batman whines.
"Yes we are."
We get to the door and I open it. We walk into darkness again.
"Um a little light here?" Brian ask.
I hit the lights and Nick smiles, but then frowns.
"HEY! This is just the boiler room!. Seriously, were is the cave?"
I look at Nick/ Batman/ Confused Blonde.
"Batman, this IS the Batcave. You put everything in yourself. You park the Batmobile over there, your Bat Cycle there," I said pointing.
Brian isn't too happy and he tears the mask off.
"See, we tried to tell you! But nooo we have to get in these stupid outfits and make her bring us to a boiler room."
Nick keeps making faces and Brain tears the face part off.
"Great. I bet she was really about to lead us to the cave until you tore the mask off."
I stand, shocked. Suddenly, I scream and go after the guys. In the dressing room, a loud scream is heard and everyone jumps.
