Following the clue someone told him in a telephone call, Peter Parker went to Latveria, where Mary Jane was supposed to take a photo shot, but, before this, she desappeared in a airplane crash.
Once there, he invaded Dr. Doom's castle and saw himself face to face with the evil sovereign. Unable to handle the fight, Spidey escaped and was hidden in a house in the Latverian capital. Returning to the castle later, the Spider-Man fought against Dr. Doom once more, and discovered that he was actually a robot, called Stryfe. So Spidey was thrown away from the castle. |

Continued from AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #15! Spider-Man, under siege in a Stryfe-ruled Latveria, decided the only way to get real answers was to invade Castle Doom itself!
It was an unhinged wall-crawler vs. the marshalled forces of Doom's stronghold! And when the web-slinger got to the throne room itself, he confirmed that it was not Dr. Doom, but a robot that was giving the orders, and showed that to the security guards, who attacked the robot, while the webspinner fled away, rescuing an old revolutionary. But Spidey did not get any news about his desappeared wife, if she was alive or dead. |
It's another WEBSPINNERS story set in modern continuity.
The Vulture swooped in for a vertigo-inducing thriller! It was a fight to the finish set in the Vulture's domain, and it was the Vulture at his most vicious! |
