Asha's Homecoming-Background Information
In The Hungry Tiger of Oz, we learn about the country of Rash, whose ruler, Asha, had retired, and gone to a far-off nation to study radio. This story, which takes place soon after Prince Pompadore in Oz, tells of Asha's return to Rash. The story also introduces Myrena, the daughter of the legendary Greek witch Medea. Myrena also appears in my non-Oz story, "The Kingdom of Ristill", which takes place many centuries before Asha arrived in that kingdom. Speaking of Ristill, one of Snalrem's cyclopes visits there in "The Cloak and Dagger Spell." Ristill is part of the same world as Oz, but the two places generally have very little interaction with each other. I have been considering writing some non-Oz stories about Ristill and/or Myrena, but these ideas have never really gotten off the ground.
