Alliance of the Elementals-Background Information

Here is another story about Ruggedo, the former Nome King. In Tik-Tok of Oz, Tititi-Hoochoo, the Great Jinjin, banishes Ruggedo from the Nome Kingdom, but Kaliko, the new King, allows him to stay. In The Magic of Oz, Ruggedo is no longer living in the Nome Kingdom. This story, which takes place soon after Tik-Tok of Oz, explains why Kaliko's pardon was revoked.
