WHA! I just got my residence assignment today... I didn't get my first choice, which was the brand new residence in suite styles with private rooms/washrooms, but I'm in the second newest residece (Hedden) in a double. Thank God I didn't get a triple. So yes. I'm on the third floor, though for some reason the fifth floor is the quiet floor, and that's what I wanted. Obviously I didn't get it. Anyhoos, my roommate is one Patricia Freitas! I don't know anything else about her! I'm unfortunately above an all guys floor.... ewwww.... if anyone wants my mailing address/telephone, just ask me the next time you see me, or write me an email. I'm sure at the end of the month we'll all be swapping numbers. *crosses fingers* I really hope that my room is good.... *hopes*

Mon. July 28, at 2:54am

Ha! I can't sleep! So I'm downloading music and talking to people instead. Jeremey, where are you??? Anyways, this week was pretty quiet. And by quiet, I of course mean busy. Jeremey and I went to see Darin on Wednesday because we weren't able to come to his birthday party on Thursday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DARIN! He looked better, he honestly did. Jeremey humoured all of us with numerous impressions (tho not a very good one of me), so that was nice. Jeremey and I went to my cottage that night, star gazed, paddleboated, pulled weeds and froze in the water. It was fun :) We both feel asleep on the way home, lol... On Friday I went to Jamiepalooza, a huge party at Mike Hellyer's in honour of Jamie's birthday. Basically all I did was hang out with Jeremey, Mike, and Paul and talk about university, but was a great time none-the-less. I bought the "There There" single on Saturday and got a free Radiohead poster!!!! Then I went to Marta's par-tay! Full of pizza, karaoke, ps2 and gamecube. I can't believe Alison photocopied the entire yearbook. That's just amazing. So HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARTA! And tonite I spent the night at home because my grandparents came over. But all I did was clean my room, finish my mom's cd, and download Sean Paul, lol... oh, Sean Paul, how danceable your music is...

Tues. July 22, at 1:18am

So I'm back from the Rockies... I didn't want to come back :P It was so beautiful there. I did lots of stuff, like caving, hiking, going to hot springs, bird watching, driving those insane roads, playing with snow, and eating at the highest restaurant in north america (it's on the peak of a mountain). There's lots more, but I can't remember right now... I never got to go horseback riding, I just ran out of time. I was up at 8 each morning because we were constantly on a schedule. The sun rose at 4 and set at 10... it was very weird. I read 2 Harry Potter books and actually talked to people who had read Order of the Phoenix on the plane. I seriously didn't want to leave. If I could move there, I would. It's just so peaceful. Anyhoos, nothing else is new... I can't wait for the Radiohead concert. That's my big excitement for the summer :) I can't believe I have just over a month before I move out. How sad.

Tues. July 8, at 2:33pm

Well, I'm off to the Rockies in 3 hours! YEAHHHH!!!! It's going to be so much fun :) I think I'm even going to try some horseback riding. Last Friday was fun, Amanda, Marta and I went to Laserquest and were called Charlie's Angels... lol... Yesterday was the Foo Fighters concert. It was great! But I wish we had been a bit closer to the front... we were just on the edge of the mosh pit, but I have to say, I didn't want to be killed right before my trip. I saw Marta crowdsurfing once, but she 'says' she went twice... pshhhhh... Overall, it was a great concert, and was the biggest general concert I've ever been too. Dave Grohl was so funny as well :) Anyhoos, I gotta go and get packed a bit still. Have a nice birthday, Nowak!!!!!! I'm sorry I'm missing it! Bye!

Tues. June 24, at 10:21am

So yes. I am up early because of stupid exam review day... it went well, I guess. Except for *&$#@^! art... I'm not complaining about the mark, it's just I know she lowered it purposely because I never got below that on ANYTHING (except our Jane Bond video, which was only 1% lower) I did in the class. I asked her what some category meant and she said "I don't know...". I'm so happy about english tho, I did well for me! The english illiterate person! And calculus went so well too! So this past weekend I went to my cottage with the Jeremey. Which was so much fun :) Except for the fact he was scared of the fish. Why are people scared of fish??? They're not going to eat you. But anyways, we went over to Cori's on Saturday, and had fun in the sun. Everybody had a great time. The cottage was nice, and the bugs weren't all that bad (except for poor Jude... ouch). I particularly enjoyed the english book bonfire... On Sunday Jeremey and I went back to my cottage and relaxed all Sunday and Monday. It was great. AND I HAVE TICKETS TO RADIOHEAD! THIS IS LIKE, THE BEST THING EVER! THANK YOU SO MUCH AMAZING AMANDA! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!! And now I am thinking about having something to eat and actually cleaning my room. HAHA! DIE, ROOM!

Wend. June 18, at 7:16pm

AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *runs around throwing things* I AM OFFICIALLY DONE HIGH SCHOOL! HOLY CRAP! OMG, I'm so excited. It's been a great 4 years, but I'm so happy to be done. Yes, I will be sad on review day, but NOT TODAY! TODAY I AM HAPPY! Oh gosh.... well, the English exam was ass, but I don't care about English. I was never good at it, and I never will be. Who cares, I don't have to take it ever again! Math went really welllllll.... except for some dumb question which had base 3 equal to base 4 and the exponents weren't the same.... I couldn't solve that. O WELL! I never have to take calculus again, either! Or physics! So yes, I'm happy it's over. Saturday was me and Jeremey's 6 month... awww... congrats, you :) Nothing else is really that new, except I (well, Jeremey helped a little) washed both cars today, and now I am doing tires and windows while my mom is vacuuming. I intend on sleeping tomorrow, but I have to get to school and pay the $21 I owe in library fines, and the $7 I owe to Mrs. Skol... Therefore I have to be up before 11... booooo... o well, I can't complain :) Good luck everyone else in their exams! Cha!

Thurs. June 12, at 12:08am

Today was a great day. I officially finished art, and we had our famous Artuberfest (final year art show) for the entire day. I missed the majority of it because I went to take my G test. WHICH I PASSED! I was so nervous but WHO CARES? I PASSED! *Woo!* Now I am officially the first of our friends with my G license. Go me. Other things that were amazing about this day:

1) Hearing the entire Coldplay concert live on Edge. I was SUPPOSED to go to that concert, pit tickets and everything, but I took longer than 5 mins to complete the order. I was so goddamn mad. But still, I got to listen to the entire thing, which was great.

2) Listening a billion times over the past 2 days to the new Radiohead cd. IT IS SO AMAZING. It's just about the most amazing thing I've ever heard. Scatterbrain is my favourite, followed closely by 2 + 2 = 5. Holy crap, it's amazing. I listened to it for 6 hours straight yesterday. That's more than I listened to Coldplay when it came out. So this one is a record holder in my books.

3) It was a nice day.

4) I got my pictures back from grad. They are sooo good. Especially that one with me and Jeremey posing like superheros or something... I'm going to frame that :)

5) Finding out like 99% sure there's going to be a Radiohead concert in August. I think I'll pass out ^_^

6) Booking my two week vacation to Calgary/Banff/places on this side of the Rockies. It's going to be beautiful, and now I can officially drive the car in BC. Sweet.

7) Sending my acceptance into Mac.

8) There's only one full day of high school left. Actually, that's a depressing thing...

Anyhoo, I have my last math test tomorrow. Then I only have 2 exams. It's gone so fast...

Sat. June 7, at 6:09pm

Now there is only an oil painting, an ISU essay, 2 exams and a math quiz left...
So last nite was grad... it wasn't that great, I thought it would have been 100% nicer than that. But the drunk people that just ruined everything annoyed the hell out of me and a lot of other people. There were some good songs, but others sucked ass. The food wasn't anything special and it just seemed to drag on forever. Tho I must admit, it was nice seeing everyone dress up, and Jeremey learnt to dance :) Thank you for the corsage! And thank you Babin for the reception par-tay. Afterwards I went home and almost fell asleep while Jeremey talked with my mom for like, 2 hours. I tried to wake up and go to Spaky's, but then I felt sick, and too tired to do anything. But I still am laughing at Family Guy... I wish I had gotten into that show when it was on tv. So I ended up coming home at around 6:00 or so, and passed out till noon. Now I'm procrastinating about my stupid English essay, and wondering how I'm going to live through next week. After next Friday, I have 5 days to study for my Math exam, and then that's it for high school. YEAHHHHHHH!!!! My G test is next week. Who knows if I'll pass? I honestly have no idea...

Mon. June 2, at 4:19pm

The end is in sight... only an ISU presentation, an ISU essay, an oil painting, a water colour thing and a math test and quiz left. That's it for high school! Well, except for the English and Math exams, but that's beside the point... so yes, here I am procrastinating about my annotated bibliography. It wouldn't take more than 2 hours if I only started working. Meh, you know me. We got our yearbooks today (thanks Jeremey!). I look alright in all my pictures... there are some pretty good ones :) I think Rami's is one of the best grad writeups... Mine's really boring, but I wanted it that way. So nothing else is that new... except the stupid university choice I have to make. I was accepted into every program I applied for. I was really hoping I would be rejected from some so my decision wouldn't be that hard. And now I have a deadline for this Thursday. *yay* Do I want to be a doctor? Or a scientist? Or a researcher? Or a computer special effects artist? Or a director? Or a botanist? Or a pharmacologist? Goddamn! I love Guelph, but I was accepted to Mac Health Sciences and Queen's Science, which are MUCH harder to get into than Guelph. But I don't like those universities! And I'm throwing away amazing oppurtunities! AHHHH!!!!! Why can't this be easy? *sighs* Well, there's only 3 more weeks of stress left. And then high school's over!

Mon. May. 19, at 6:25pm

I know it says I haven't updated in a long time, but it sure didn't seem that long ago... this time of year always flys by so quickly. I can't wait till university when I'll be done school at the beginning of May. Then I can actually watch Spring! WOO! Anyhooo... nothing really is all that exciting in my life... the English ISU is slowly creeping up on me, and my art projects need to get done. Calculus is pretty much over, because we only have one unit left which really isn't being counted as a full mark. YEAH! That class has been 100% better than I thought it would be. I doing better in it than I did in Chemistry.
We saw The Matrix on Friday. I've been waiting for this movie since last summer, and even had a countdown. But I must say, I was pretty disappointed. Some parts were AMAZING (like the car chase! The Escalades! THE ESCALADES!) but others were so incredibly stupid... one thing I did like better about this movie was Trinity. So I drew her for one of my art sketches. I will probably scan it and put it somewhere when I get time. I must admit, as disappointed as I was in Reloaded, I'd pay another $9 to see it again. I mean, it's still better than most movies I've paid to see. Anyhoo, back to art I go!

Sun. May. 4, at 12:17pm

*woot*! It's Sunday! That means I only have about 12 hours left to do ALL my homework. Damn homework. The past week has been busy with the play and all, but thankfully we got the programs done in time :) I went to see the play a whole 3 times, and it was sooooooo good. Everyone did such a great job, and the set looked amazing. I have to say Bottom was my favourite character and all, because, you know, he IS my boyfriend ^_^ The cast party was fun, and I was part of the non-drinking club! Nowak, Jeremey and I had so much fun talking with drunk people. VishnuDE! It was hilarious. I don't know how late everyone stayed, but I got to bed sometime around 4, which was plenty late for me. Thanks for the house, Darcy :) Anyhoo, nothing else is really new, except that this coming week is my ISU interview, which I'm so scared about... But I just have to keep telling myself "I just need to get over 80%, I just need to get over 80%..." and all is good. So ends the journal entry. Adieu. Adieu. A...DIEU!

Sun. Apr. 27, at 4:51pm

*sighs* What a weekend this has been. Actually, it hasn't been bad, just incredibly busy. I haven't slept past 9 all weekend, which is unheard of in my world. So what's new? Not much. Easter was nice and quiet, I went to my cottage and did art all weekend. This Friday was the Guelph conference, which was a lot of fun. I met up with Matt, which meant I wasn't completely alone :) Supposedly Diana was there, but I didn't see her. So I only had three days of school last week. Which was sweet. Very sweet. But very busy. This week will be bad too, up until whenever my ISU interview is. I'm so scared about that... Well, get it over with. I'm not going to get below 80% in this thing, and that's all that matters... My Aerostar was finally fixed, so now I have it again. You never know how much you love something until it's gone. How true. I might wax her today, since it's so nice out and all I have left to do is my ISU (which can wait, as far as I'm concerned). So yes. I will do that now. How exciting! Lol...

Wed. Apr. 16, at 10:49pm

That's for you, Jeremey. Happy Anniversary 2 days ago.. :)

Anyhoo, things that are new: I GOT ACCEPTED TO GUELPH!!!!!! And Western. But I don't want to go there, lol... And I received amazing presents/cards from Babin and Opal this week for my birthday, which totally took me by surprise. Thanks so much! I bought a grad dress today! It's a long weekend soon! AHHH!!!

Sun. Apr. 13, at 2:13pm

*sighs* Stupid work. Actually, I'm not minding anything except the English ISU. Stupid English... ANYHOO, Montreal was great. Even though some people were perma-drunk, nobody ruined anything. The highlight was my brother, Hellyer, Jamie and Matt Nash singing YMCA. Avril Lavigne was last Wend. Laugh at me if you want, but that concert was fun. There were so many little girls in their dad's ties, and it was like being at a Backstreet Boys concert. I loved it. Avril was really good, she has an amazing voice. And no, she wasn't faking it. Gob and Swollen Members opened. It was funny when parents covered their children's ears when the bands swore. Hehehe... it was a great concert. Thanks Amanda for the tickets again! Last nite was Jenn's par-tay. We watched Jackass, which I LOVED! Omg, it was so funny. But I think what was so funny was how Jenn laughed before something funny happened. Oh Jenn :) It was the first time I played Foozeball, and it will definately be the last. Stupid Paul Kawai scoring on my net all the time. Hehehe, but it was fun. Anyhoo, an extra long weekend is coming up, which I am going to relish like crazy. Cha.

Sun. Mar. 30, at 6:00pm

So yes. It was my birthday last Thursday... *sighs* I don't want to be 18 :P It didn't dawn on me until yesterday when Jeremey and I went downtown that I can do quite a lot now. Like buy lotto tickets :) Which just happens to be the best benefit of being 18. He dared me to walk into a strip club. I said no. ANYHOO, thanks to everyone who made my birthday fantabulous! Like Amanda, Andrea and Bobak for the presents, and Jeremey for the banner, two cakes (^_^), weird balloons and an amazing day yesterday. It meant so much to me... *hugs you all* So the next two weeks are crazy-busy. I'm missing three days of school this week for a badminton tournament and for Montreal. The day after I come back I have three tests. Isn't that wonderful? Lol... oh well, midterms are so soon. Stupid school... *shakes fist at it*. Anyways, I need to get back to Jane Eyre... Mr. Rochester is so amazing... :)

Thurs. Mar. 27, at 10:48pm

These are the best pictures ever. Why can't my Aerostar be like these?

Mon. Mar. 17, at 5:30pm

*sighs* Here comes school again... I didn't do much relaxing over the break as I'd like to. I basically worked the entire time (except at night, I'm not that crazy) on homework and my Ryerson portfolio. It was scary going to the university and seeing everyone else drop off their portfolios. I dunno. School sucks. Actually, English sucks. It doesn't stop. I'm reading 3 books right now, I have 2 assignments this week, and on top of it all, is that ISU. Our interviews start in like, less than a month. And on top of this is calculus, which is intimidating, and art, which isn't going that well because I'm not inspired anymore. *sighs* I guess summer's almost here. I'm waiting... Lol... well, some things are good. It's my birthday soon, but I don't even want anything. I told my mom that all I want are glow-in-the-dark stars to go up on my cottage walls. I put up around 15 more car pictures this weekend. And the stars inbetween the pictures. It looks so amazing. My cottage room is starting to be better than my home room. I'm looking forward to this summer spending it there. I can't believe it's my last summer, I mean, yes, university has summer, a very long one, but it's not the same. Well, I'm going to have to make the best of it :)

Sun. Feb. 16, at 5:31pm

So tired... this weekend hasn't been relaxing, that's for sure... Friday was fun. It was Valentine's Day :) I loved my Crocodile Hunter valentines... "Owww, you're one naughty little lizard!" Lol... but I mean, I got a Legolas card from Laura, which is an amazing Valentine. Haha, it was fun... especially my peppers from Jeremey! *glares* I was asking for it... Saturday morning I tried to get Coldplay tickets. I tried for 15 mins straight, finally got 2 GENERAL TICKETS, and ran out of time before I found the credit card number. DAMMIT! So the next time I tried (which was about 25 mins after they first went on sale) there were only lawn tickets left. I was so angry. But yes, I'm not going. I figure I'll be up to my elbows in work in June, so I probably wouldn't have the time anyways. But it was so maddening... I filmed all day for our art project, including my Pimpstar almost running over a duck on a string... don't ask, but the final video is going to be hilarious. "CRIKEY!" Saturday nite was the Sum 41 concert! It was fun, but we didn't have to stand in the cold long because we got there 15 mins before the doors opened. I was really shocked how non-violent it was... nobody was really jumping, and we basically just walked to the front at the end. O well, I got to see Cone :) And buy a shirt. Spiffy cool. Today I was filming again for art, did calculus... working on a scholarship... and then it's off the editing! Yay! And it's the 300th episode of Simpsons tonite. Can't miss that. Cha!

Wend. Jan. 29, at 1:10am

EXAMS ARE OVER! YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Holy, I was so happy when my bio exam finished. I don't care how I did. It's over. For the last 5 mins of that exam, I was just sitting there smiling. I am so happy. I hated sitting in my room from 9-11 everyday studying about cylic AMP and enthalpies. It's over! I'm not going to talk about it anymore! YEAH! Lol... sorry, I'm in a good mood. Ooooo.... settling down now.... listening to Shawn Desman. LOL. I know, I hate me for it, but Shook is just so catchy. Don't kill me, haha. I feel so badly. Whenever Jeremey gets in my car, I'm listening to either Justin Timberlake, Avril Lavigne, or Shawn Desman. Oho... They're just always on the radio. I'm sorry Jeremey! Anyhoo, I'm going to the Avril Lavigne concert with Amanda, Marta and Justin in April! YAY! I can't wait :) A closer concert is Sum 41 on Feb 15! I hope my cough is gone by then, I don't want to get sicker. That's going to be one crazy concert. I wanted to go to OK Go, but it's 19+. It's so stupid... I can't wait till I'm 19. Being 18 means nothing. I'm waiting for 19... It's bowling tomorrow! Yeah! That should be fun... alright, I'm good and done. Nite!

Wend. Jan. 15, at 1:51pm

Ahhh... when are exams finally going to be over? It seems to be dragging on forever. I got my last tests of the year over with today, and I'm so happy I never have to endure a chemistry test again. Mind you, I still have the exam, but that's over a week away. I just have a Com Tek portfolio presentation on Monday, and then it's studying for a solid week. I can't wait till it's over. Things haven't been that exciting lately, I mean, it's near exams, this time of the year is never good. SOME things are amazing... *smiles*, but on the whole, I just want to curl up in my bed and read The Two Towers. I've noticed I'm becoming slowly obsessed with Lord Of The Rings. I read The Hobbit three years ago, then took a year to get through The Fellowship, and now I'm chugging through The Two Towers. If only I had more time to read it...*sighs*. Lol, I think all these quizzes about the guys in LOTR are fueling my obsession. Thanks, Jenn and Opal! Lol... I went home on spare today, and started watching The Fellowship again. And I saw The Two Towers twice in one week... This has influenced me to be an elf for Halloween next year! AHH! AN ELF! If only I knew how to do the ears, and bleach my hair light blonde... then it would be the best costume ever... *sighs* Anything else new? No, not really. Applied to 9 programs, need to get a reference letter, need to get a portfolio together, etc. I can't wait until I retire! AHHH! Then I would be sooo happy. This entry is going nowhere. Bye!

By the way, if anyone wants to watch our 10 min long "Becoming Avril Lavigne" for my Com Tek final, click here. Enjoy!

Mon. Dec. 31, at 10:12am

Is it Monday? Or Tues? The last day I can remember was Sunday... ahhh! SO I'M BACK FROM THE LAND OF FUN IN THE SUN. Except it wasn't so sunny. And not so fun. Because it was FREEZING the entire time we were there! >_< What a way to ruin my first vacation in 2 years. Well, I'm not complaining that much. We went to the two different Universal parks last Tues and Thurs. On Tues it rained, but because of the rain, there was NOBODY at Universal. I ran on every ride. On one river raft ride, we joined a group of people who had been on 12 times in a row. The attendants didn't even ask them anymore if they wanted to come off :) I finally got into a bathing suit on Sunday, though I have no suntan whatsoever. The drive to Florida was good, I did all of Ontario to Windsor (about 5 hours) there, and all of Florida and some of Georgia on the way back. The Pimpezvous was great... we didn't have a single problem with it. Sleeping in it was another story. My neck hurts really bad, because we didn't have as much room to lay back on the way home. When I went to Universal I won a HUGE Scooby stuffed animal, which is about 4 feet tall, and I really wanted to take it home with me. So yeah :) We squished everything in the car for that Scooby. But anyhoo... I slept about 2 hours last nite, so I'm tired, and I don't know how I'm going to stay awake tonite for New Years. Driving to Florida was a lot better, I got about 5 hours of sleep then. Christmas was alright, I got a Guess watch and games for my PS2. Besides that, I didn't really get half as much as anyone else because the vacation was my present. O, my brother got me the Sum 41 cd! Lol... the dvd is rather hilarious. Christmas seemed to go by so quickly this year, despite the Christmas ads popping up in early November. I think it was because I just had so much school work before the break, that I had no time to enjoy everything before Christmas. But a lot of good things happened before Christmas, the biggest of which was Jeremey asking me out. *smiles* You'd better keep me awake for New Years :) *Woo!* So yes, Merry Belated Christmas everyone, and I guess I'll see the majority of you for New Years. Cha!

Sun. Dec. 1, at 2:23pm

Wow, look who's updating... I thought I'd be able to fit all of November in one update. Nothing much ever happens in November. You know what's sad? When more people (about 40 more) visit your site in a month when you didn't update then those who visited in a month when you did update. That's pretty funny. Anyhoo, the highlight of November was The Vines concert. It was the first general concert I've ever been to, and I had SO MUCH FUN!!! We lined up for about 2 hours, and took turns going into Loblaws to warm up. We got spots at the front, and I was petrified that I would be crushed. But actually, it was the people behind me who were crushed. I had two idiot girls on one side, a really nice couple on the other, and a kid behind me, so no one was violent. The Music were really good, and in Jenn's words, very trippy :) When The Vines came on, I went crazy, probably because Craig was about 10 feet away from me all nite. I'm still hyper about that concert. I got numerous bruises, mostly on my arms, but I'm never going to be scared of a general concert again. Another highlight of November was my discovery of the band OK Go. I love them! And that's about all for now... bye!
