Eclipse, Rider of Shar'than.
This seemly young half drow happens to be the aid for the three Ladies of Fate, appointed by Aoe. Eclipse is a Temporal being, existing in all times, knowing the outcome of all actions. His seemingly only purpose in this "present" is insuring that the dragons survive.
Toren and Leana are Eclipse’s birth parents. Leana is of the Wild Elven race from the Sylven Forests of the western Isles. His father Toren is a Drow Elf from the UnderWorld, who was afflicted with a rare variety of Lycanthropy, after Eclipse’s birth.
Eclipse was born under an eclipse, hence his name, but he is also stamped by the strange time of his birth, a mark of an eclipse adorns his left shoulder blade. Once it was whispered that “Three Eclipses on one day, with one moon.... would be followed by a burning gloom.”
His youth was strange as his parents remarked, he always spoke to things that none could see, and always seemed to know when and where things would happen. For the youth it came as no surprise at the infant years of seven, he impressed to a sickly green dragon, Shar’than. A scant few months later, Shar’than passed on, leaving his all too young rider behind. One morning his mother went to check on him, and Eclipse was gone without a trace.
Eclipse’s parents search worriedly for their only child, but to no avail, for they found no trace.
For Eclipse, that fateful day of his birth meant so much more. It was a sign that none had known how to read. After he vanished from his parents Lair, only a broken babe, his mind and soul shattered by the loss of his dragon. The Three Lady’s of Fate took him up; they healed and nursed him back to health, returning Shar’than to his side. From then on, Eclipse has rode in the ladies name, doing their bidding upon the Mortal realms.
He has traveled back and forward in time doing these unspoken tasks.
A young elven man, riding upon a Great Wyrm Green Dragon flew back into the Green Weyr. This was Eclipse, all grown up, in what should have taken a thousand years had only happen in a scant ten years by Dragon Mts. reckoning. What had transpired while Eclipse was away is almost completely unknown.
Though the second generation of HighLords had remembered this young man. Fifty Thousand years ago, He and an un-named woman, had gathered them up, gifting them with their HighLord Dragon’s.
The Third Generation of HighLords where also brought by Eclipse to Dragon’s Mt. His gift to them was the reborn HighLord Dragons.
The most recent thing Eclipse has done, by common knowledge, is send two women from an un-known realm to the Red Weyr, to aid in the rescue of Talliessan.
Eclipse so does love it when plans come together, at this time, the strang drow son of Toren has faded from sight, without a word as to when he will return. With peace in the Dragon World,
its guessed that Eclipse went to play else where.
