Half Drac's
Toren del lil dobluth Qu’ellar Thorak
An odd race that came about when a Green drow elven rider's spell fluxed, the end result was the rider's transformation.
It seems that the Flux infected the rider with Lycanthropy, from the other mages and clerics theories, Toren’s and his dragon's blood was mixed, changing the Rider (Toren) into a form of WereDragon.
Toren's birth form was that of an albino drow, his new true form consists of a drow elven torso and face, with a few dragon items, such as; horns, sharp pointy teeth, wings and scattering of scales. His lower half is rather dragon like, covered in scales, equipped with prehensile tail, and talon feet.br>
Toren has three forms that we have seen; the half drac, his elven form (resembles his birth form) and last the dragon form. Though he doesn't take the other forms often and when he does, Toren doesn't stay in them for more then two to three hours. It is believed that he simply can't hold these other forms for long.
Other abilities that have been displayed. Acid breath weapon and immunities, very much like that of a black dragon, which suits his black scales perfectly. Water breathing, he has hidden gills along his ribcage. When under water the skin parts allowing him to breathe, but once he departs the water, the gills seal shut, allowing for normal breath. Toren also displays some of the Black dragon's natural spell abilities, such as; corrupt water, plant growth, and darkness 15' radius.
For all these natural weapons and abilities this new form gives to Toren, we have seen a server draw back. The Half Drac's tend to dehydrate in heat. (80 degrees plus) For everyday spent in such heat waves, the Half Drac must soak in water. (i.e.. two days/soak 1 hour, three days/soak 3 hours, 4 days/soak 6 hours, 5 days/soak 12 hours, if the half drac goes 5 days without soaking they become incapable of moving and will slowly die.)
The Half Drac's are also affected by normal weapons (i.e.. like a normal human, a sword wound will kill them.)On top of that, dragon's bane, or dragon slaying weapons have been know to kill a half drac out right. (i.e.. Dragon's bane and dragon slaying weapons do double damage.)
Mind you the study of Toren has been taken from afar, for the poking and prodding of the cleric's and mage's has at times brought forth the man's drow elven temper, with the force of his dragon body to back it.

Leana Ilharess Ilhar del lil dobluth Qu’ellar Thorak

Toren was married before this transformation took place, why Leana stays with him, is a baffling question with no answer. Leana is of the wild elven race, rather pleasing to look upon. She has a normally sweet temperament and kind heart, but like all chromatic riders, she has a mean streak. Though this streak is really seen. It is more likely that Toren will remove the problem before it upsets his wife.
Some believe that she has been some what infected with the same disease, but she has yet to show any change other than the fact, that she is capable of birthing young, sired by Toren. The gestation period is about fourteen months long, and then Leana lays one or two eggs. (How this is done, is still under debate by the cleric's and mages, Toren will not allow anyone to examine his wife.) The eggs harden on heated sands for about three months, when they hatch; the children are as helpless as newborn elves. Three types of young have been seen so far. The first and most common are the Half Drac's (about 80%), the second type are elven looking (19%), the last and most rare is the dragon type, only one of these has been born to Toren's family.
It is well known and a common joke, that Toren keeps his wife with child so she doesn't leave him. Rarely is Leana ever seen not pregnant, normally she is with child again even before the last one hatches.

Toren's Brood

The half-drac children are rather strange; all the males born look like carbon copies of their father. Though somehow they can all tell each other apart, we've been told that each half drac has their own scent. The Female's looks vary, some have been white scaled, (albinos) hair and eye vary, and birthmarks are predominant in the females as well as oddities. Poison Ivy, has bright green ivy birthmarks running along her wings and her body oozes out a form of acid poison. (None has lived long enough to examine the poison, other than Toren's family, which seems immune to it.)
The Elven Children seem normal enough, they tend to look just like elves, Drow, Wild or a mix there of. Though they tend to have the ability to shape shift into Half-Drac shapes but are unable to hold them for more than a few hours. As to their other abilities, it varies with each birth.
The Dragon Child is known as Demon Prince, he was born from the same egg as his half drac'n twin Moon Drop. Demon Prince has scales of all the chromatic dragon types, in a varied almost rainbow pattern. The Dragon seems mild of temperament, and is usually found playing with his younger brothers and sisters, acting like a play ground for the youngsters. Not much is known of Demon Prince's powers, it is said that he is a son of the Queen, ranking him with the powers of a demi god, but such has yet to be seen. Moon Drop, his twin is also his impressed Rider, making one to assume that Demon is just a strange looking normal dragon.

Children of the Children
So far there have been off spring of the off spring. Children of Half Drac'n females tend to be of Half Drac'n stock. Children Sired by Half Drac'n males have no showing of the disease what so ever. As for the Elven style children all of their off spring are lacking in the disease also. Demon has yet to mate so there is no telling what his off spring will be like.
So it is safe to assume that only the Half Drac'n females carry the genes of the disease, there fore they are the only ones that can pass it on to their young.
The Disease
Like all Lycanthropy it can be passed on. Toren's or his direct children have the ability to infect another living creature with the disease. Bites have never infected another so far, but the mixing of blood. (Open wound to open wound) will pass the infection at an alarming rate. The infected person's physical change will take a matter of days. This process is extremely painful and most die from it. If the infected person doesn't die from the initial change they tend to go insane and die, or are put down. To this date no infected person has survived more than ten days.
Foot notes
The Half Drac'n woman, in the Blue Weyr,
DesertSpark, is not one of Toren's brood. She is not a Lycanthrope, and her special abilities are rather unknown at this time.
Eclipse is Toren's son. Born before the affection, and there fore he carries no WereDrac blood.
Toren also has eight full blood Drow son's living in his household; (from oldest to youngest) Alton, Dinin, Hatch'net, KelNozz, Ryltar, Nym, Relonor, and Sorn. Relonor has a wife, Golden Tear (gray elven), and one son, Solden (1/2 Drow, 1/2 Gray).
