When Angela reached the car, she wasn't surprised to find Krystina sitting next to it.
"Hey." She looked up.
"Hey."
"So, she pour coffee on you?" Krystina said, like she knew it was gonna happen.
"Have you two met before?"
"Me, Nick and Marrissa all went to the same high school, except that Marrissa was popular and I wasn't." she sighed as she continued on, "you know, cheerleader, Prom Queen the whole nine yard. Anyways, Nick and me started talking one day, and became friends. She couldn't accept the fact that Nick has other female friends besides her. Just leave at she made my high school life a living hell." Krystina's eyes were filled with anger and hatred.
Angela was in pure shock; she had never thought what jealousy could do to one person once they let it in their heart.
"She's threaten by you being around Nick, be careful, you're her next target now." Krystina patted Angela on her shoulders as she got up on her feet.
"Let's go, don't want to be late for dinner."
"Yeah." She climbed in the car as Krystina stepped hard on the engine and the tires spit gravel as they left the mall.
"Is it good?" Howie asked nervously as he placed his mashed potatoes on the table.
"Yum!" Angela exclaimed as she shove another spoonful in her mouth. A relieved smile appeared on his face. The guys decided to take turns to cook dinner. Howie was first, and Nick's second.
"Nick, can you cook?" Angela asked, avoiding the resentful look Marrissa gave her.
"No." Nick looked down like an innocent child.
"I'll teach you."
"You will?" Nick questioned.
"Yeah."
"Thanks." He whispered.
