"You okay?" Angela approached Sarah. The guys had already started playing.

"Yeah, fine, why do you ask? I'm perfectly fine!" Sarah replied flatly. But it's hard to miss the fear and rage behind her angelic smile.

"You sure?"

"Yeah, but I offer you a word of advice, don't trust Marissa." Sarah sighed.

"Hey, babe!" AJ grinned as Sarah walked in the room and put her hands on his shoulders.

"Hi, are you winning?"

"Duh!" AJ laughed, pulled her hands down to his waist.

"Sure you were! Now are you gonna play or not?" Kevin exclaimed, pointing at the table.

"Fine, I can make that shot with my eyes closed!" AJ stood up and gave Sarah a peck on the cheek which he received a fake gag from Brian. He picked up the stick. AJ took a deep breath and closed his eyes.

"I can't believe he made it!" Brian's mouth dropped open.

"Told ya!"

Meanwhile, Nick and Angela are cuddled in a couch at the corner of the room. Marissa kept glancing at Nick, feeling uncomfortable under her glances. Angela shifted so that Marissa was completely out of vision of Nick.

"What's wrong?" Nick removed his arm around her shoulders. "Am I making you uncomfortable?"

"No, my foot's asleep." Angela reassured him that everything's all right. "AJ, if you decide to chose another career, you should be a home designer." She commented.

"Thanks." AJ replied, not taking his eyes off Sarah.

"This might be a good time to ask you." Nick said.

"There's a fair coming in town this weekend. Wanna go?"

"Yeah, since I've never been to a fair before."

"Never?" Nick's eyes widen.

"It's hard to have any fun with my dad." Angela looked down at her hands that's folded on her knees.

"Sorry, didn't mean to bring that up. But you'll have fun! And I have other reasons why you should come." Nick smiled warmly.

"What the other reason?"

"I want to spend more time with you before we go on tour. But we're taking the rest of the year off. I want to get to know you better, go on our first date, win you a teddy bear, and our first kiss." Nick whispered, she could feel his warm breath on her neck.

"They all sound pretty convincing, especially the last one." She grinned, snuggled near him. Nick kissed her forehead, feeling the unimaginable softness of her skin, Nick groaned and pulled her closer to him. Angela sighed as she rested her head against his firm chest, listening to his steady heartbeat.
