“Nick! Are you ready?” Angela yelled while pacing around his apartment. Sarah dropped her off at Nick’s since she has a date with AJ later that night. “I thought guys were suppose to be faster...” She muttered; not realizing that Nick’s behind me.

“We are, I was just taking my time.” Angela jumped at his statement; after all, she didn’t expect him to be that close to her.

“Really? Why?”

“Because... I knew that you would wait for me?” He laughed as she leaned back against his muscular chest; at that moment what Marrissa had said to her a few days ago vanished. I knew Nick cares about her and that’s all she needs to know.

“You know, we should get going.” He whispered, but made no attempt to move.

“Yeah, we really should.”

“Or I can call Brian and tell him that we can’t make it.” Nick suggested.

“That would be a good idea, but I’m suppose to meet Amanda at the fair. So let’s get going.” Angela told him as she jumped up and rush out the door with Nick behind her.

They found Brian waiting at the admission gate, after paying, the three of them started to wander around and stop at the game booth constantly.

“Angela!” A familiar voice called. Angela turned to the direction and was greeted by a hug.

“Manda?”

“That’s me! Wow! You look great! You must be Nick!” They shook hands, finally, she noticed Brian... It was like a movie where it’s on slow motion, the amazed look in Brian’s eyes and way Amanda’s face lit up is something that no one can ever forget.

“Hi, I’m Brian.”

“Amanda.” They stared at each other for a long time, as if the time has stop around them.

“Ahem!” Nick coughed purposely.

“Let’s go.” Brian blurted out as he awaken from his daze. Not letting go of Amanda’s hand, they walked in the crowds leaving Angela and Nick snickering after them, knowing that their little ‘set-up’ had worked.

Meanwhile, Marissa was sitting on her bed, with a picture in her hands. It was she and Nick. “Nick, you’re too good for her, you ‘belong’ to me!” Marissa muttered to herself. Putting down the picture frame, an evil grin appeared on her face as a plan started to form in her mind...a plan to make Nick hers.
