"tv is after all the modern-day Roman Coliseum - human devastation as mass entertainment" ani, tamburitza lingua

So I've been relentlessly searching for colleges. I'm almost into panic mode, I know I have a few months, but geez louise, a few months to decide my future?!
I know I've had plenty of time, I'm not complaining. It's just a bit scary to be staring such an important part of my life straight in the face.

You have to know so many things to get into a college. I'm not talking about facts you learn in school either. I mean, you have to really know and be able to write about yourself. And somehow you've got to be able to distinguish yourself from thousands of other kids just like you. I've been trying to do this and write about it since I was 13 years old! It's difficult!

Because of these questions I'll soon need answers to, on my trek to the library I was trying to think of things that really make me different.
Here's what I came up with:
~I like instruments that no one my age will readily admit to liking;
the accordian, the bagpipes, and the banjo.
I think these are some of the neatest and coolest instruments around, but people would laugh at me if I told them I was in love with them.
~I like to floss my teeth. Plaque is the enemy, my friends!
~My favorite tv network is PBS
~I like to run in the rain
~I've ran 9 miles at once
~I love Karl Haas's voice

...I will add to this list as I drive and think more...
