"always there through that and this, there's nothing we cannot ever fix " tori, bells for her

Daylight Savings Time never fails to amuse/excite me. Imagine - a day with an extra hour!
To this day, I remember being at my cousin's house playing Barbies at one in the morning. Her dad came downstairs and said, "You girls better get to sleep, it's one o'clock!" And we were so proud of ourselves because we answered,"Nuh-uh, it's only twelve!! We have one more hour of playing Barbies!"
And I promise you, fifty years from now, on Daylight Savings Saturday, I will think of Amanda and me playing Barbies with our extra hour.

I also will always think of how strange it is that because everyone consented to it, us humans can change time. We can freely move around something that is supposed to be concrete. But I guess since we invented time we can do whatever we want with it. Which brings out the paranoia in me; what if someone is stealing time as we know it when we aren't paying attention? It could happen. They did it in Entrapment. And so we all go around thinking the day is 24 hours long and someone steals minutes here and there, and before we know it, it's getting dark at two in the afternoon!
Ok, ok, I'll stop now. You see, my clock says 11:30 pm, but my body keeps insisting on 12:30 so I'm getting a bit tired to make too much sense.

Goodnight!
