Dear Family and Friends,
Christmas Day 2000 is almost here! How good it has been to hear from each of you! May I share bits of our “Year 2000” with you?
Jason began working as a service clerk with Save Mart supermarket here in Porterville. He’s enjoying working there! He’s almost finished with studies @ Porterville College and is looking into four-year college possibilities.
Nate has a full schedule at Monache High School. In addition to cross country he’s become interested in paintball as well as online product sales.
Andrea is in fifth grade at William Buckley School. She’s participated in ballet & jazz dance, Christian dance and soccer.
Kristen turned two years old in October. She’s interested in just about everything except diaper changes and naps!
Cindy has enjoyed painting and ceramics this year. She’s looking forward to continuing studies in these areas as well as possibly further education to earn her M.A. in Counseling and MFC certification.
Steve continues to enjoy his work with Porterville Schools—coordinating the Home/Hospital Instructional Service program and teaching science. His leg continues to improve; thanks for praying!
Family events this year have included trips to the snow, Easter in Solvang and Cambria, a summer journey to Washington, a fall trip to Legoland, the Apple Run & Veteran’s Day Run, Christmas vacation at Camp Nelson and Christmas celebration at home.
The desire of our hearts is to know God better—possible because of Christmas and Easter. We pray that’s your reality in 2001 too.
