Chapter Two
Cold
She wakes in a cream painted room, handcuffed to a wooden chair, like the kind you'd usually see at a desk. As she scans the room with those dark brown eyes of hers she notices she's in a bedroom right in front of the door so she cant see much of what's behind her... and so she can be monitored. As she turns her head the other way she notices a tanned young man in a uniform, with long flowing blonde hair coming out from under a silver looking mask. "hmm... he doesnt look half bad.. but why does he seem so familiar? No, it couldnt be... could it?" she thought to herself as she suddenly finds herself staring in awe. Soon the door opens... and a tawny haired man in a bluish uniform is looking down at her, stepping closer and closer. He stops inches from her and leans over, his face right at hers, eyes looking deep into hers. She feels as if he's reading her soul, or looking right though her.

"Hmm.... and what is your name young lady?" He speaks, and she suddenly begins to feel flushed.

She clears her throat and replies, "None of your business!" With that said she knees him, watching him fall over as the thought finally sinks in...
"I just kicked Treize Khushrenada... and... that man over there... is..." She gasps at the thought, "Zechs..... Zechs Merquise..." She scrambles her feet underneith her in the chair and stands quickly, jerking the arms off of the chair. She slides the arms of the chair out of the other side of the cuffs and heads towards the open door.

"Where will you go?" the masked man speaks. "Go to your family? Lead us straight to them?" He stands solemnly and turns his head towards her. She feels a chill as if he's a ghoast, or an angel. Very unlikely... an angel wouldnt give a person chills... but a demon... that's another story.

"Yes... if I knew where they were. Or why they even left. Or what
you did with them."  She replies as her eyes tear up, a look of contempt and hate coming over her. It's his fault she was abandoned... they had to know something was going to happen, and didnt even tell her.

"If you leave here you'll die. I wont kill you, but the gundam pilots will. Are you hungry? We have food. You've been out for days, I know you want
something to eat." he says coldly. His hair flows gently in the cool breeze coming from an open window, she stands there for a moment and admires him silently, before she senses the other man standing behind her. "Lord Trieze... would you be so kind as to escort our guest to the Dining hall?"

Treize places a hand on her shoulder and nods, "This way please." with that he turns and steps out the door. She follows quickly and blinks not sure what to make out of the base, seeing faces she's only seen in cartoons before, actually real, and human. They go down a long hall and up a few flights of steps before coming to a large room with many tables, and many soldiers snacking around here and there.
