Krillin is Gokus best friend ever since they were kids during the Dragonball Series. He and Goku both trainned under Master Roshi, thats why he also knows the Kamehameha technique. Krillin is one if not the strongest of the human fighters.
Krillin is incredibly dedicated to his friends, especially Goku, and holds friendship in high value. He is willing to fight against the Saibamen and Saiyans even though he doesn't want to die. Goku encourages Krillin to have confidence in his own abilities as Krillin learns to be a remarkable fighter -- that is, for an Earthling.. |

| Bulma has also known Goku since the Dragonball Series, she first met him while on the very first quest for the dragonballs. For a while Bulma was going out with Yamcha but after the Frieza and Garlic Jr sagas, Bulma and Vegita got together and they both had a child together named Trunks.
Bulma is a mechanical genius who can operate and fix anything. She is the one that discovers the capabilities of the Saiyan Scouter and enhances it for their own use. It enables her to save the day more than once. She also takes the lead in finding a space ship to go to Namek and joins Krillin and Gohan in the journey. |

Tien is a three-eyed man who was originally trained as an assassin under one of Master Roshi's rivals. After realizing he did not want to be an assassin, his best friend Chaiotzu and him switched sides and became Z fighters. Chaiotzu and Tien are telepathically connected. His fighting techniques include the ability to hover in the air, throw concentration bombs, and split into two or four seperate entities(Cell uses this technique against Goku during the Cell Games).
Tien is excited about being trained by Kami to fight the Saiyans. He volunteers to be the first to fight the Saibamen, wins the battle, and goes on to fight against the Saiyans. He loses his best friend when Chaiotzu trys to use a kamikaze attack on Nappa(but it does`nt work). |

| Yamcha is a longtime friend and ally of Goku's that possesses great fighting spirit. He is usually accompanied by his devoted cat companion Puar. He is anxious and willing to be trained by Kami and to join the battle against the Saiyans. In the heat of the battle Yamcha volunteers to fight the Saibamen instead of Krillin because Krillin has already been brought back to life by the Dragon Balls once, which is the limit.
This good looking warrior still has an attraction for Bulma. Yamcha does`nt like it when Bulma started fussing over Vegita after the battle against Frieza and his father King Cold, and is totally jealous. This jealousy still remains when Bulma and Vegita have the baby Trunks together. |
