Selecting Teams :Each manager has to choose a team of 4 hikers. Teams must be of 4 people.Club members have been very roughly divided into 4 different categories and are worth either 4, 3, 2 or 1 point each. Managers must choose their team using no greater than 10 points. As these are only rough values they may change throughout the course of the game to represent a change in the ability or activeness of the hikers. If a hikers value increases the manager does not have to alter his/her team. NOTE: This is the only time that the value of a team may exceed 10 points!
Eligible Hills :Generally each summit must be 2000feet or greater to qualify as a recognised Fantasy Hiking peak. The Hills of Great Britain and Ireland Website provides a good list. For this game only hills on the British Isles may be used to generate a hikers points. |
