The Artist, Jerry W. Caines has always had a love
for the Arts. He has always been fascinated with
"Fantasy" and "Fantasy Art". It is this fascination
with Fantasy that has brought him into the feild of
Fantasy Art. His drawings and paintings do not all
cater to a fantasy theme, as he draws and paints
other subject matter as well. However, he still puts
forth a labor of love into each piece he creates.
Jerry W. Caines was born in Georgetown, South
Carolina, USA in 1948. He grew up there and still
resides there today. He spent four years in the US
Navy from 1969 through 1973. He did a tour in
Vietnam while in the Navy.
He took an interest in art from early childhood.
Although he has never had any official art
training, he is still an "Artist", a self- taught
artist. He also took up painting and has turned
out quite a few Masterpeices in his time. He
enjoys working in "Oils" on stretched canvas.
He also enjoys a wide range of subject matter,
which can be anywhere from Fantasy, Wildlife,
Landscapes, Seascapes, Portraits and anything
else that you can imagine.
He has had his work displayed in various Art
Galleries in his area. Somewhere along the line,
he decided that he would like to sell his work
through "Mail Order", as well as the "Internet".
