Heidi

Heidi is awesome. She hangs around the barn whenever Steve is out there, hoping that he'll ask her to do something. Yesterday, he called her into the pasture and told her to take the goats to the barn. All by herself, she cut the herd into three parts. She bunched one part and drove them to the barn, came back and buched the next one and drove them to the barn, and came back for the last bunch. All with no help from Steve or any of the other dogs. She is not even 6 months old and has had no training at all other than watching the routines. I was impressed with Ellen, but Heidi is even better. I am really interested to see how she does in the guardian dept. when we reach kidding season!
