Welcome to my Jazz Page

During 17 years of professional playing, I have been fortunate enough
to experience many performance genres -- from Dixieland and Jazz Big Bands
to Brazilian Bands, Cajun Groups and Salsa Bands.
While first tenor player at the University of Northern Colorado,
I was named Blues/Pop/Rock Instrumental Soloist
in Down Beat magazine's 1998 &1999 Student Music Awards.
I also played sax with UNC Combo II, which won the magazine's
Blues/Pop/Rock Instrumental Group for 2000.

I've had the privilege of performing with
Bobby Shew, Denis DiBlasio, Ernie Watts, Louis Bellson,
Kim Richmond, Mike Smith, Cyrus Chestnut, Al Jarreau,
The Shirelles, The Platters, Martha Reeves & the Vandellas,
Melissa Manchester, Jeffrey Osborne, Roberta Flack,
Ray Charles, Linda Ronstadt, and many other music greats.
