Comments:
This Mod pretty much excluded the need for my last mod (Fog Light Mod) since I can now just turn my Headlights ON, leaving them down and still having my Fog Lights ON. However, of course, I don't know what kind of heat problems you might have if sitting still for a while... Possibly melting some of the plastic inside the Headlight Bucket. Also, if you have an abnormal sound system (400 Watts is fine for me, go figure) requiring a lot of power, you probably want the Headlights off if you don't need them on.
I thank Jerry for his site which showed me how to do this mod simply... and easily. Thanks!
Caution:
The wire you cut is HOT at all times. This means that you should avoid grounding it out or you will blow the MOD (probably short for module) fuse in the fuse box under the hood (this is for those of you who don't read or disconnect the battery, like me). Simply tape these wires together when you splice in new ones so that they cannot contact any metal.
