Welcome to the Lego Central's LDRAW area.
LDraw is a freeware program which can create Lego
models in 3D. Primarily used to format Lego creations for display and download
on the internet. These can then be rendered in photo-realistic models using POV-Ray.

Introducing .datFest
A new LUGNET newsgroup has been
created for the discussion and planning of .datFest, a virtual Lego convention
to be held in Boston sometime this June. The date has not been set yet for the
event, but planning is underway and we will keep you informed when information
becomes available.

Model of the month

Steve Bliss has lead the work on defining an extension of the LDraw file
format. The BFC extension, will allow LEGO CAD programs based on the
LDraw parts library to render files twice as fast. Still Under development to
make sure it is compatible with older versions.
