TRUSTEDANSWER.COM ADDS THREE NEW TEAM MEMBERS TO
MARKETING AND MANAGEMENT POSITIONS
SUNNYVALE, Calif., July 31, 2000 — Trustedanswer.com hired three new members to its management team, further demonstrating its commitment to the company’s growth. Tom Scholer has joined as vice president of business development, Tom May has joined as director of sales and Mike Gruber has joined as sales development manager. These additions reinforce trustedanswer.com’s lineup of industry veterans, reflecting the company’s core commitment to becoming the premier provider of outsourced customer support solutions.
Scholer brings more than 19 years of business development, international sales, hardware and software development, team management and marketing experience to trustedanswer.com.
Scholer previously held sales management positions with Global Information Distribution as vice president of worldwide business development and Micrographic Tech Corporation as director of international sales.
As trustedanswer.com’s director of sales, May is responsible for positioning trustedanswer.com as the leader in the Internet Business Service Provider market. His experience includes developing business relationships with Fortune 500 companies and he plans to leverage his past experiences to promote a new customer service paradigm at trustedanswer.com.
May spent seven years at Corporate Express, five years as regional vice president, and has held sales positions at Joyce Office Products, Eastman’s Office Products, Commercial Office Products and Capital Office Products.
Gruber joins trustedanswer.com from Corporate Express, Inc. where he managed a direct sales team. Prior to that, he was general sales manager at the Paging Network of Sacramento, where he implemented product rollouts and received "top sales executive" and "circle of excellence" awards for outstanding production.
