And if you would to help all the fellow F-Body Drivers email me the code and discription and if possible the location you got the discription from. Fixed invalid check digit if the check digit is X.

Started work on the GUI. Got the GUI to the point where it can be distrubuted. A few features like save, open, and print still need to be programed. In the mean time you can copy and past the decoded information into word pad to print or save it. This will be the first beta release of the GUI. It should be safe to run it now.

Finished Websit for VIN Decoder, still some additions to come, just remember I didn't want to put much time into the website where I could develop the program. I also wanted to keep the website simple to keep load time down.

Welcome to my F-body VIN Decoder's webpage. I have written this program to help all my fellow F-body drivers, restorers, and racers. I will be releasing this program in stages. Please see my Download and Verson History pages for more information about features currently in place and ones on the way. This program is written in C# (pronounced C sharp) built on the Microsoft .net Framework. I will hopefully have a finished version with all the features I want to put in place in two months. I am writing this program as donate-ware, if you use it and think its worth something please donate what you think its worth. I have not yet set up the system but it will be through pay-pal. If you are interested in contributing to this project please email me.

I needed an off-line VIN decoder for a few different reasons. One, comes in handy when someone is claiming something you know is incorrect. Two, when searching around Junkyards or buying a car it comes in handy to be able to look up this information. All you need is your laptop, and in the future I will port it over to use on PDA's. I haven't written anything on PDA's so I have to teach myself how first.
