Hello friends,it is august/04 and I am inserting this little note.The air quality "odor log"that you see below is all that the state of texas uses to determine what action should be taken on smoke complaints by residents.I published this online for my and the State of TEXAS use.They need to install monitors or require them on the property of EVERY smoke emitting business that is near homes/schools,I said "need to".

Their few personnel are not equipped with modern equipment to monitor anything over a period of time, and they dont have the time to "come out"and investigate pollution as it is ocurring.The laws regarding smoke emitting businesses near residential and school areas are practically nonexistent and vague.The air pollution here is getting worse every year outdoors.Air pollution is relatively ignored in our communities,yet our children have Physical Ed at school in it,play little league,and walk to and from school in it every day.We work in it ,our families work in it,and we all breathe it every day and night of our lives.It comes in our homes because it is so tiny.We sleep in it.We heat our homes and create it,we cook out and make more of it with coal and wood fires, and expose us and our children and pets to it and shorten all of our lives.We,our children,and our pets get cancer and other serious diseases from it.Some of us die from cancer caused by it as well as stroke and asthma-lung related complications and other diseases.Our children develop schizophrenia from exposure to lead in wood smoke.

You see,odor is just part of the problem.Air pollution is fine,asbestos like particles,called PM10and PM2.5 and various gases,like ozone,nitrous oxides,lead oxides,molds,fungus and others.This "ignored"air pollution kills just like cigarette smoke does.It affects our quality of life and that of our families and pets.just click the directory link above for more information.

This represents times i was outside and happened to be in the area and smelled smoke,this does not represent every time that smoke was emitted or detectable.
