Good times and bad,
Some of which will be,
The best you've had.
The war and peace of this last one
Will never cease,
But it would be wonderful
To live in peace.
The birth of a child
Is a wonderful thing.
Think of all
The joy it brings.
A new year -
A chance to turn a new leaf,
A time to renew relationships,
To live for peace.
So whatever the millennium may bring
Just remember these two things -
The past is the past,
And there it will stay.
Tomorrow can be made
A brighter day.
