Purple is rich and dark and deep,
Purple is the secrets which I keep,
Purple is night, dark and serene,
Purple is truely fit for a queen,
Purple is evening, a dusky twilight,
Purple is heather, bonny and bright,
Purple are the flowers whcih I hold aloft,
Purple is velvet, indescribably soft.
