As the sun shines in my room
I can see shadows forming:
Covering things up,
Hiding them from sight.

If I stand in the right place and turn away,
I can cast a shadow onto myself:
No-one can see me,
I'm hidden from sight.

I wish I could stay here forever.
Let the sun's shadow keep me hidden!

If no-one can see me,
No-one will care.
If no-body cares,
There is no-one to hurt.
If there's no-one to hurt,
There is no pain.

Please cast your shadow forever.
Perhaps it's better that way...
