After the cold and snow of winter,
Spring does emerge with hope for all.
A sign the warmer weather's nearer,
Soon to present what was before.
The first sign is that of the flowers,
Carpetting the lush green grass.
To think inside each seed of gladness,
Lies a beauty none can surpass.
The sheep upon the fields are grazing,
Baby lambs soon to appear.
Meanwhile birds fly back from winter,
With a song for all to cheer.
A time for origins, their source to show,
The wonder and beauty of the grow.
To think this cycle all began,
With the creation by God (not by man).
His final act of giving life,
Was that he gave upon the cross.
Not that we his death should suffer,
But enjoy the life it cost.
Easter is a part of spring,
A source of life for everything.
The nails that hung him on a tree,
That we all life on earth might see.
