Wrabness - Tuesday 3rd August

As we were in open country and the crops had already been harvested, we decided to take a short cut to Wrabness through the fields. When we arrived, we failed to find the playing field and so asked a small boy for directions. It was deserted. As Wrabness is a beached area, we decided to explore the beach, but to no avail. Instead we went to see one of our contacts in Wrabness, who after feeding us, referred us to a family with 6 children who could probably give us room to stay. She did indeed have room for us, in the nursery.

When we'd dumped our things, we returned to the playing field to find some young lads playing cricket. They soon left though. As did we.

Wednesday 4th August

The place we were staying was a family with young children. After a time of prayer and praise, Gill and Fay decided to stay behind to occupy the children whilst the rest of us went in search of people to talk to. We discovered our first Wrabness contact, Maurice, had lost a friend that morning, and so he asked us to go to church to pray with him. We then had dinner with him.

On returning to the nursery, we prayed about where we should go next. It was decided we should go to Ramsey.
