FennecTheFox's Strategy Guide
Counters to this strategy. I don't think there are any counters. You totally nullify 4-5 Pooling when you build your Pool on 11. I believe that Muta/Ling is the best Zerg:Zerg strategy. Whoever can do it better will be victorious. Before I conclude this guide, I will explain two useful micro techniques that I neglected to mention previously. When it comes to Zealot vs Zergling battles, you normally want to keep a commanding number of Lings around. Protoss will often try to pressure the Zerg player early on with Zealots attempting to make the Zerg player build more Sunkens or create extra Lings. Once your opponent sights your greater numbers and decides to retreat, you can chase after the Zealots, and surround them - preventing them from escaping. This comes from practice. It isn't something that's picked up very quickly. Often enough you can use Terrain and structures to your advantage. When you aquire Ling speed upgrade early in the game - Zealots are no match for Lings and are easily taken out if the Protoss gets sloppy. You can apply the same techniques vs other Lings, and Marines. |
