Pics of My Vacation to Colorado

These are pics of my vacation in Colorado! I was even kind enough to bring along my friend Beth and my mom and dad. Isn't that nice?

You know the drill: Click the thumbnail, get the pic...

Don't try to stop me! I'll jump! The portal to hell it ain't...

Stuff from the Ute Reservation. First one is me broodin' over some kiva ruins. Second one is the first lodge we saw. The lodged you in it and left you for the night. Okay, okay... It was just a hole in the wall. But it was still cool. Subsidized housing for large, multi-legged insects.

Mom-in-the-Box NEW: Lemon-Scented Mom-in-the-Box

My mom helpin' to deflate our balloon after the ride. It was fun and very high up. Unfortunately, we landed in a big, muddy field. I helped tow the sucker in, and I had mud up to my knees. It was fun, though.

Modern Art at Its Best

Flipflops. Yes, flipflops. My flipflops. My mom took the pic. I think it's cool. Don't laugh. Stop it, damn you.

Look real close. My mom's behind the camera.

Me, my dad, and Beth near the edge of a cliff on Wolf Creek Pass. Really gorgeous country. Hawks, bluebirds, chipmunks... it was awesome. We don't have chipmunks in Texas. Probably because people here like to kill small moving things. It's a culture thing...

Me 'n' my mom 'n' Beth in front of one o' Durango-Silverton Narrow Gage Railroad (DSNGRR)'s three steam engines. Yes, we actually got to ride on the thing. For 7 hours. Well, at least it was pretty countryside the whole time. Rivers 'n' lakes 'n' streams and whatnot. And it was fun hangin' outta the train to take piccies... even though I wasn't s'posed to...

Where are the Men In Black?

A street lamp in Roswell, NM. So... did they model the lamps after the aliens, or the aliens after the lamps...?

Lassie, go home! Back. Hair.
