The show will be governed by the show
schedule and the Show Chairman will make any necessary final
decisions.

Only participants authorized by the
Show Chairman will be allowed in the show area during the
entry and judging hours
|

All entries are made at the owner's
risk as neither the Tampa Bay Fern Club nor the location
host organization will assume any responsibility for loss or
damage. Accidents or security problems have not occurred in
the past.

This is a club show and all
exhibitors must be members of the Tampa Bay Fern
Club.

All entries must have been grown by,
and in the possession of, the exhibitor for at least six (6)
months prior to the show.

Each exhibitor is limited to six (6)
entries total. An exhibitor may enter more than one variety
in a genus, but only one fern of a species, cultivar, or
variety. In other words, an exhibitor may not enter two
ferns having exactly the same botanical name.

Plants must be free of insects or
disease. Containers must be clean and free of algae. Entries
which, at the sole discretion of the Show Chairman, are in
sub-standard condition will be removed.

Entries will be received on Friday,
October 11th. at the show site from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30
a.m. and must remain in place until 3:30 p.m. Sunday,
October 13th. Plants must be removed by 5:00 p.m.

An entry of unusually large size or
difficulty of placement must be identified to and approved
by the Placement Chairman in advance of the entry
date.

All plants must be labeled, using the
special ENTRY TAGS provided, with botanical name, class,
exhibitor number, entry number, exhibitor's name and
club/address. The exhibitor's name, address, and affiliation
will be hidden from the judges view until all judging is
complete No other markings or labels of any kind shall be on
the plants when placed for judging.

Assistance will be available in
identifying ferns. Names on all labels must be approved by
the Classification Committee which will make the final
decision in the assignment of an entry to its designated
division or class.

Complete the EXHIBITOR ENTRY SHEET
before coming to the show. Once your entries have been
approved by the Classification Chairman you may fill out an
ENTRY TAG for each plant.
