History of the Tara Festival of Crafts
Tara's Centennial in 1981 was the humble beginnings of the Tara Festival of Crafts. As a Centennial project each church in Tara and Arran Twp. decided to celebrate it's 100th anniversary by amalgamating to create one large Craft show. Slowly our community craft show has progressed into a multi-room craft show with over 170 booths to choose from. This has become one of the premier events of the year. The organizing committee takes great pride in reducing duplication of the same type of crafts.
