Mr.James R. "Jim" Bowers: holds degrees from Northwest Mississippi Community College, the University of Mississippi, and a Master's degree in vocational and technical education from Mississippi State University. Mr. Bowers stated that:

I am anxious to work with the outstanding individuals and groups in FFA throughout Mississippi in utilizing the outstanding facilities of the C. M. Brewer FFA Leadership Conference Center.
