This is my third attempt at comprehensive text, link, and BGCOLOR comparisons. If your browser has the ability to view JavaScript, this table might come in handy for you. I apologize for the bugs that are still on this page, like the fact that some text/link colors cannot be compared to some BGCOLORs, at least without some judicious scrolling. I'm thinking about it.
     Although the BGCOLOR names look like clickable links, I recommend that you don't click on them, because it'll basically just refresh/reload the page, using some of your time unnecessarily. Just float your mouse over the BGCOLORs, looking for the text, link, and BGCOLOR combination that looks just right for your page. By the way, if I haven't made it crystalline clear, all of these colors can be used as text, link, and BGCOLORs...key areas where some impact can be lent to pages. Happy hunting!!

Hello again!

     Another question that I've received wondered why I didn't also have Hex or RGB colors listed. Well, although Hex and RGB colors might, perhaps, be supported by the larger number of browsers that are available, Hex and RGB color combos are darned difficult to remember without opening another window or file so that one can look them up. I 'found' most of these color names through trial and error, which, I'd hazard to guess, are better than I'd do trying to pick a 6 numbered and/or lettered color out of thin air!
     Lastly, I believe, like the FONT FACE command, that all new-release browsers should support color names. Yes, people can remain with the browser version that they've had for a year or two (3, 4...), and be perfectly happy with what they can or cannot see. However, I think that the newest browsers should also contain at least the same level of functionality that previous versions allowed; whether FONT FACE, or, color names.
