A Declaration of this Website's Intended Purpose:

The Atmosphere:

This website was created to be an all-in-one Miami Dolphins fan website. The goal of anyone and everyone involved with participating in or producing for this website needs to realize that this should be a website for hard core fans, casual on-lookers and occasional football patrons. All levels of football experience are welcome, and the more varied the input, the more diverse the exchange can be, and the more diverse it gets here, the more fun and enlightening this site gets. I know, it sounds a little touchy-feely, but the theory is sound. I am part of a wonderful website of a similar nature called Club Lakers and believe me, the website has grown by leaps and bounds from when I first started helping with the design. It is my goal to get the same kind of group cooperation that exists so well on that site.

The Content:

Now, I do not have much of any content (especially original) at this time, but if we all, as dolphin fans, get together and make this a community, then we can start to offer what many other website do not have, the personal touch. I strive to give original content like artwork, songs, stories, editorials and more, and to let the fans themselves develop the content, and drive the site in the right direction. This has happened at Club Lakers and I intend to make it happen here as well.

The Personality:

The personality of a website, especially one with chat and forums and a community atmosphere, is crucial to its life or death. If the people are too rude, ignorant, immature or personal, then the atmosphere can quickly become an overwhelming hindrance to the enjoyment and success of the website. It is my intention that this website will retain the good qualities of a community, and (as much as possible) avoid the bad ones. That is why I intend to be very strict regarding the Rules of Engagement and the Code of Content.

Rules; Codes of Conduct:

1. Never belittle, offend or ridicule another member PERSONALLY.
2. Never belittle, offend or ridicule a player or coach PERSONALLY.
3. Always stick to football Subjects reagarding the NFL, AFL, CFL or NFL Europe.
4. Come often, bring friends. (not a rule, but a friendly suggestion)

A Final Thought (ala Jerry Springer):

The title of this website (and any further titles should it change) is not directed at any individuals as people. I think the league (for the most part) has players and coaches that are close to model citizens, wonderful human beings and I'm sure they would make great friends. It is not my intention to PERSONALLY belittle, ridicule or offend any member of the leagues or teams as a living person, but merely to creatively and cohesively state my issues with their abilites on the football field. I do not wish to upset or offend the friends or family of any NFL organization (you hear that Anthony Mason, I LIKE Jay Fiedler) but to draw people in to the website by giving it a captivating name and potentially controversial subject matter. I intend to follow all 4 rules of this site, and you should as well. And remember that any dig, insult, rip, roast or zing of anyone in the league is ok, as long as it is not a personal attack, but rather an attack on their ABILITY to do their job. So I say "Do as I do, AND as I say" on this website. Most importantly, ENJOY YOURSELVES!
