Cheese n' Apple Breakfast; by Sashilia
Ingredients-
Thinly sliced apple
A slice of bread
Enough grated cheese to lightly cover the bread, (chedder is best)
Steps: Toast bread slice.  If you haven't already grated the cheese or sliced the apple, do that while you're waiting.  When bread is done, place the apple slices so that they cover the entire piece of bread.  Then, sprinkle the cheese over apple until it is lightly covered.  DO NOT PUT A THICK LAYER OF CHEESE.  On a microwavable plate, put the now-covered slice of bread in microwave on high until cheese is almost all melted.  Eat it while it's warm!

Melt-In-Your-Mouth Mint Mounds (great for all holidays)
Ingredients: 1 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon softened butter
1/8 tablespoon salt
1/2 cup mint extract
1 tablespoon light corn syrup
Steps: : Mix butter, salt, mint, and corn syrup, in a medium-small bowl with spoon, and then add sugar little by little.  Mix with hands when it is too tough to stir.  Using food coloring, you can make small, bite-size, orange, yellow and red turkeys, snowmen with hats and earmuffs and orange noses, pink hearts, chicks, eggs, pumpkins, you name it!  (If dough is too melty to make into shapes, put into freezer for a few minutes or until slightly firmer, however, dough will melt slightly.)  Store in fridge until needed, or eat right away!  For a different taste, substitute vanilla for mint extract.
