TRI-CITIES UNOFFICIAL SPEED ZONES
You know you're fast on you're favorite trail. You know every twist and turn and exactly where the fastest line is ... but are you the fastest in the Tri-Cities? Here's your chance to find out.

What we've done is to set up a course with a Start/Finish and we'll post the 3 fastest times for that course. Right now we have one offroad downhill and one offroad "hill"climb course set up. We'll add more courses, both road and offroad, in the future.

We must insist on some ground rules. First and foremost is to do your timed runs SAFELY. This is strictly for fun and local bragging rights. On the offroad downhill courses, you should send a rider down ahead of you to make sure the course is clear &/or warn riders (and other trail users) that someone will be making a timed run. Keep in mind that the UPHILL rider (and any other trail user) has the right-of-way at all times. If we hear excessive reports of accidents &/or crashes we'll be forced to pull the trail signs as well as this page. The timing will be up to you and we'll rely on your conscience when you report your times. Dates for your timed runs must be current (i.e. after the intial "seeding" time). After two months on the Top 3 list, times will be put into an ARCHIVE.

Report your times via email or leave a message on the Flyers Ride Line <734-8655>. Include your Name, Date of Run, Course Name and Time.

Have fun and ride within your limits.

Course: STATE PATROL (All the Trails)
That's right, a timed run consisting of ALL(well ... almost all) the trails out at State Patrol. It doesn't matter what order you do them in but you have to ride all the trails that are on the State Patrol map. Here's a listing of the trails: Main Street, Painter's X-Over, Freeway, Woody's, Turpen's X-Over, Big Tire, Fred & John's, X-Cut/Star's Home, Wheat Field Road, Slalom, Skate Board, Lost & Found, and Slime. You've got your choice of doing either Lost or Found and this doesn't include "New Trail" which, BTW, has been extended all the way to Fred & John's.
