Vacation Bible School
Mark you calendar and join in "Camp Edge", ages 5-12. August 10th-14th 9-12 pm. Invite your grandkids, neighbors, or just come volunteer.

Department of Children and Family Services
Donations for DCFS are collected every 4th Sunday. Needed are new children's clothing--any size, formula, socks, baby items, and cash donations.

Bible Study
Wednesday morning Bible Study takes place at 10 a.m. in the church library. Pastor Bob leads the study.

Primera Iglesia Cristiana
Join us for our Spanish service every Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
Spanish Bible Study every Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.

Disciples Women
The next evening study is on July 21st at 7 pm at Betty Kenworthy's home.

Transformers Meeting
Transformers are all members of our church who would like to see our church grow spiritually. Bring your ideas to our next meetings every 4th Sunday after service in Newman Hall. Bring a snack to share.

Picnics in the Park
Every Wednesday evening in August at 6:00 p.m., join us at Michigan Park for food and fellowship. Bring your own table service and drinks and a dish to share with everyone. All are welcome.

Interfaith Food Center
The Food Center serves families in Whittier. Canned and boxed items may be brought to the church to be picked up. Volunteers are needed. Call the Food Center for more information, (562) 903-1478.

Chaplains Need Prayer
Military Chaplains are responsible for the worship services, spiritual counsel, guidance and support to the armed forces personnel. Our chaplains lean on faith and prayers from you to sustain them. To support the chaplains and members of the military, please lift your prayers through Christ for their ministry and safety as they serve our nation.
