Anime
Anime is an abbreviation of the word "animation". Outside Japan, the term most popularly refers to animation originating from Japan; and to the Occidental way of thinking, not all animations are considered anime. Anime is therefore usually considered to be a subset of animation.
Anime is traditionally hand drawn, but like in most animation computer assisted animation techniques have become quite common in recent years. The story-lines of anime represent most major genres of fiction and most motion-picture media.
Now that the definition of anime has been said its now on to the main event! The comments of particular anime that I find very interesting!
Claymore
a dark fantasy manga series written and illustrated by Norihiro Yagi produced for Monthly Shonen Jump. Plot summary-In a world rife with deadly creatures called "youma", a young silver eyed woman, Clare, works on behalf of an organisation that trains female youma halfbreeds into warriors with the ability to destroy these creatures. Considered a rogue for picking up a stray child & almost losing herself to her youma side by "Awakening", she is constantly assigned rather dangerous missions. This story line is the same in the manga which is why I used this brief intro to this anime.
I give this one a 5 out of 5.The art is very detailed and the story is well described in every scene. These are just a sample pics to show the great art that the artist creates in every scene.

Hellsing(TV series)
is an anime TV series produced by Gonzo [1], based on the manga of the same name by Kouta Hirano. The name is either a mistranslation or deliberate alternate spelling of Helsing, as in Abraham Van Helsing from the Bram Stoker novel Dracula.
The 13-episode TV series was produced in 2001, with the story and characters quite different from the original manga. The TV series was broadcast on Fuji Television in Japan from October 10, 2001 to January 16, 2002 and in the U.S. on Starz!'s Encore Action channel from October 4, 2003 to December 27, 2003. This one is nothing like the manga and it wasn't that bad but didn't have a outstanding story. I give this a 3 out of 5
