The Fitzroy Secondary College site (former Fitzroy High School), is at the corner of Falconer and Michael streets, North Fitzroy, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
* marks
the spot.
As a high school it would directly service the Fitzroy, North Fitzroy, Clifton Hill, and Fairfield areas, and be an option for the Richmond, Abbottsford, Collingwood, Carlton, Northcote, Thornbury, East Brunswick and Alphington areas. It is accessible via trams from Brunswick/St Georges road and Queens Parade, and by train from Rushall station (Epping line) or Clifton Hill station (Hurstbridge line).
The site is currently un-occupied with the exception of McKinnon's Gym, located in the school's gymnasium at the rear of the site.
The buildings are locked, but it is possible to wander through the grounds. Please respect the patrons of McKinnon's Gym. Their presence on the site has helped prevent a lot of vandalism.
Have a look around, you'll be astounded at how such a resource could be left in ruin. If you don't have the chance see the pictures.
If you notice any vandalism or evidence of entry please telephone 9589 6299, 24 hours a day.
