BEAUTIFUL PLACES I HAVE LIVED

El Salvador

I was born in El Salvador . A beautiful place to grow up rich in culture and mystories of the past civilisations like the Mayas and the Aztecs. I grow up with the appreciation of nature and desire to learn each day. Our past time for the weekends and holidays was going to the beach with your family. Also hiking was another of the past time; we used to go up the mountains and volcanoes to see the rivers and lakes from above. In the journing of going up you can see many wonders in nature and wild life and you learn to appreciate the beauty in the place and the peace surranding this area. Because of the civil war everything became very compromising to talk and do around the country many issues were involve and my family and I were force and with a heavy heart to live the country. That's where my journy start were my strength, my knowledge and appreciation on life began to grow.

Costa Rica

My family and I started a new live with some of my friends and family far away. Also we have the challeges to learned a new language, even do it was spanish, the way they talked it was quite different. We learn to a just to the new life some challeges were fasters and some others slowly a day at the time. We kept some of our traditions like every weekend to go the beach or the mountain and we decided to explore the new country which it was a beautiful experience in my life. Seing the beauty of nature and the danger of new species of animals and plants that we need to learn from them so you can keep save. In this journy I learn to appreciate what my country was all about also I learn to appreciate people and be more positive in my life because you are the one who make a decisions in your life. But still more changes to come and a new life waiting for my family and I.

One of our biggest decisions

My family and I were face with another decision to make; the opportunity to go and live in Canada. We were ready for another challege so my family decided to leave Costa Rica and move to Canada. With a heavy heart we leave our friends and family but we were greatful for the wonderful opportunity to learn so much about ourselves and the appreciation of the wonders of nature surranding us.

Calgary, Alberta, Canada

We started a new life here in Alberta, Canada. The challeges were more than what we were expecting. We knew that were going to learn a total new language but also we experience the challenges from the people and the climat changes. We were so exited about the first month of snow because we never seen it before but after we were wondering when it was going to go away. The first year was very hard but we learn to cope and rolled with the punches, one day at the time. We tried to keep the tradition to explore this new country but the distances were much longer and the time was quite different. To survived in this country my parents have to work weekends and with so much to learn we were busy with homework and activities but we learn to manage our time and organized trips to explore Canada. We went hiking and to the lakes in Alberta; we learn something new that it was camping in the mountains. It was fun for us but we needed to prepare for it by learning about the wild life and how to cope with danger. Alberta is a beautiful place to live full of wonder and magestic mountains make you feel humble and appreciate the beauty and peace that surranding us . Still one more challenges to come in my own life.

Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

This time one of my biggest challege was to leave my own family and get married with the wrong person. After marry him, he make the decision to move to Ottawa for better ways to rise a family. I follow him hoping for a better future leaving my family, my friends and my job that I love so much. After a month of having my child he left me for another woman and a debt of $800.00 in debts. I was very debastating for me and trying to cope with my new life and with a child in arms. At that moment I make a decision to see a positive future for my child and myself. I start looking for the beautiful things that Ottawa have to offer and what I have learned from my parents. I saw the kindness of the people and the beutiful places here in Ontario. In Ottawa have great activities for each season and all the experiences I have here are wonderful too.

In my life, I have learn a lot about the love of people and the wonderful hidden treasures the nature have to offer us in stages of our lifes. Sometimes you have to look around and appreciate all the blessing in our lifes but we need to look at them with an open mind and positive attitude because you never know, you might miss them.
