Mathematical Resources and Ideas
Mathematics is a science, in that, objects like shells, pebbles and trees can be counted. Also it is an art, in that, it uses constructions that we make to do the work. We write numbers, we draw lines, triangles, and squares, and we write equations and proofs. We are finding that computers are good at repetitive calculations and help us explore equations and even draw curves.
