Psionicists are a type of mage that manipulate mana differently than the other mages do. They draw their power from within, which enables them to be unhindered by the gestures and chanting that others go through. Most of their powers deal with the mind, thus they must be highly intelligent. However, they are also known to be able to control atoms and also delve in the studies of hypnosis, telekinesis, and telepathy. Psionicists tend to stay away from others, and due to their self-involved nature and cannot aid others with their spells. Because the majority of the psionicists' spells affect the mind, they have the ability to resist other psionicists extremely well. However, this also means that they have trouble triumphing over others of their kind
