[2007.04.17] Fans Birthday Party Event
Korean star Lee Jun Ki 25th birthday is arriving, at the moment his fans are preparing a big birthday party.
On the 15th Lee Jun Ki's fans prepared a birthday party to celebrate Jun Ki's 26th birthday. There is 1200 fans participating in this event, also 100 fans from Japan, China, Taiwan and Hong Kong will be participating as well.
Lee Jun Ki's birthday is actually on the 17th but because of Jun Ki's schedule the part was 2 days earlier.
Also Jun Ki's celebrity friends such as Lee Hyo Ri, Jung Kyung Ho, Nam Sang Mi etc also came to the party.The party on the day started at 1:30PM and lasted for 2 hours ended at 4PM. During the party Lee Jun Ki have close contact with his fans, talking, playing games and answering questions with his fans.
Lee Jun Ki expressed to he media "I heard the fans prepared this party a few months ago. In here I really thank you all for giving me a very precious memory." Also Korean KBS, YTN, TVN and China TV station will broadcast the event

[2007.04.04] First CD+DVD album, pre-order in Taiwan
After 'King and the Clown' and 'My Girl' the name Lee Jun Ki is well known in the media. To thanks his fans support his first album 'My Jun My Style' will be released on the 20th in Taiwan.
The album will include the three songs including 'One Word', 'Don't Know Love' & 'Foolish Love'. It also contain a photo booklet include photos of the new movie 'Virgin Snow' and also backstage footage of 'Virgin Snow' in the DVD.

Before Jun Ki singing was just for his fans meeting event, Jun Ki's company didn't even thought of releasing a CD and just uploading on the internet for the fans to download. But it has attracted many fans the world in downloading the songs and fans even questioned the company why they didn't release a CD. This is why 'My Jun My Style' is being released, the company said that this album is just to thanks the fans for support but it does not mean Jun Ki will be a singer.

 

Lee Jun Ki's album 'My Jun My Style' promotion event will start from 19th, fans who pre-order the album will get to receive a special poster. Also in the EZPPER website you can listen to the songs and view some footage.

Lee Jun Ki and Aoi Miyazaki new movie 'Virgin Snow' will be showing on the 21st in Japan. The day before yesterday Lee Jun Ki fly to Japan to meet up with Aoi Miyazaki in the news conference. The one who sings the theme song Naotaro Moriyama also sang the song live on the day.
During the conference Aoi complimented on Jun Ki's dancing and singing skills, and said he worked really hard in learning Japanese.
Jun Ki also expressed that if him and Aoi were really lovers he doesn't mind them living in different country, he then jokingly said that telephone bills will be more expensive.

[2007.04.04] Lee Jun-ki Leaves for Japan to Promote 'First Snow'
Actor Lee Jun-ki left for Japan early Wednesday morning to promote 'First Snow', a joint Korean-Japanese film in which he played the leading role.

Lee will hold a press conference with his co-star Aoi Miyazaki during the four-day visit. Lee's agent explained that the Japanese media are greatly interested in 'First Snow' because of the rising popularity of the Korean idol actor and promising young actress Miyazaki.

[2007.03.05] Lee Jun-ki's New Movie to Open in Korea, Japan
The opening date of the joint Korean-Japanese movie "Virgin Snow" starring Korean actor Lee Jun-ki and Japanese actress Aoi Miyazaki and directed by Han Sang-hee has been announced recently.

The movie, whose completion is slated for late March and which is entitled "First Love" in Japanese, will open across Japan in May during the "gold week", with the premiere scheduled to take place at the Garden Cinema in Tokyo. Movies that open during the gold week -- the longest holiday season of the year in Japan -- compete fiercely. The production firm of "Virgin Snow" chose this period for the opening because it is more than confident in its success.

"Virgin Snow" is a story about a high school student named Min (played by Lee), who goes to Japan to study and falls in love with a young girl named Naname (played by Miyazaki), whose melancholic personality captivates his heart.

Miyazaki drew the spotlight for her role in the NHK TV drama "Synesthesia" and has emerged as a top star for her role in the movie "Nana". Her role in "Virgin Snow" has already drawn significant attention from the Japanese media as she plays opposite Lee, whose status has rapidly elevated from a promising newcomer who debuted in the movie "King and the Clown" to a rising actor.

Meanwhile, Lee will hold his first meeting with his Japanese fans on March 10 in Osaka. The next day he will talk about his acting career during a talk show that will be recorded at the Swiss Hotel in Osaka. Both the meeting and the talk show, in which Lee will show off his charm as an actor and good dancer, are expected to boost his popularity as a top hallyu star.

[2007.03.02] Not forgetting to study
Actor Lee Jun Ki who just graduated from Seoul Integrated Arts School on the 23rd of February, attended to the enrolment ceremony of Hanseo University and received a special award from the principal.

The one who suggested Lee Jun Ki to further study in his acting career was Choi Ran who co-acted with Lee Jun Ki in drama series "My Girl". "Even though there's no doubt in Junki's acting but if he want to advance further he needs to study more in depth" said Choi Ran.

 

Choi Ran is a teacher in Hanseo University, she teaches the basic acting skills.

 

At the moment Junki finished filming "Virgin Snow" and now preparing for the upcoming MBC drama "Time of the Dog & Wolf".

[2007.02.21] Visited a cancer patient
Although Lee Jun Ki have a tight schedule during the new year, but he didn't forget about kids at the orphan.  He visited an orphan at Seoul, together with the kids they had a meal together and played together.

 

On the night Lee Jun Ki visited an sick patient who have brain tumour, the little girl was a fan of Lee Jun Ki and her only wish was to see Lee Jun Ki in person.
When Lee Jun Ki heard about this he quickly answered to visit this patient, and arranged a special program with the child.


 

[2007.02.15] Junki thanks the fans in Asia for Donations
Korean star Lee Jun Ki has many fans in Asia, the Asia fans gathered together and donated money to the 'Help blindness people' charity.

 

As Lee Jun Ki company said, Lee Jun Ki fans club from China, Hong Kong and Taiwan combined together and donated 5 million won to the International Help Blindness ORBIS charity.

 

ORBIS is a big organization in America that helps peoples in poor country who needs operation for their eyes.

 

Lee Jun Ki company also said the reason why fans from oversea did this was because of the movie "King and the Clown", the scene when Jang-Seung (Gam Woo Sung) looses his eye sight in order to save Gong-Gil (Lee Jun Ki). Many fans was touched by this scene.

 

As fans register the name Lee Jun Ki for donation, ORBIS manager sent a thank you letter to Le Jun Ki's company on the 14th.

[2007.02.04] Lee Jun Ki Shanghai Chinese New Year greeting

The Chinese TV show specially arranged jointly by Shanghai Dragon TV and Shanghai Media Group to celebrate the Chinese New Year, the only Korean star was Lee Jun Ki.

 

On February 4th, when the show has started the moment that Lee Jun Ki stepped on the red carpet, the fans started screaming their idol name. Some fans even started crying because they could finally see Lee Jun Ki.

[2007.01.31] Actor Lee Jun-ki to Appear on Special Chinese TV Show
Actor Lee Jun-ki has been invited to a Chinese TV show specially arranged jointly by Shanghai Dragon TV and Shanghai Media Group to celebrate the Chinese New Year. He is the only Korean star among some 300 Asian stars invited, evidence of his growing popularity in China.

On the show to be aired on the Chinese New Year's day, Lee will introduce Korean food and announce his New Year resolutions. Upon hearing the news, many of his Chinese fans have excitedly made predictions about the food he will introduce, which has ranged from ginseng to kimchi, and suggestions about segments of the show in which they want him to appear.

Some of his fans want him to dance or sing a song, while most of them want to see his Taekwondo skills, which he learned as a young boy.

But the production team of the show said that they need to further discuss the matter with Lee because he is rather introverted.
